Check the report date and find where the run stopped

To narrow down where your run stopped, run the sequence in the project’s current instructions and note the first command that returns an error. This is a diagnostic approach, not a confirmed BolsaBuddy-specific fix.

- Run the project’s stated command from its project directory, if that is where the current instructions say to run it.
- Read the terminal output from the beginning and record the first command that exits unsuccessfully, along with its complete error message.
- Check whether a report was generated or updated after that point, and compare its displayed date with the output from the run.
- Consult the project’s current instructions or issue tracker before changing settings or treating a particular component as the cause.
Share the exact command, report date, and terminal output when asking for help. Without those details, it is not possible to distinguish an old report from a fetch failure or a later-stage problem.
Do not confuse a brief-generation fallback with fresh prices
The creator says the brief can fall back to a templated version when the small local model is unavailable. That description concerns the wording of the brief; it does not show that market data was fetched successfully. A readable brief alone is not proof that the price updated.
The creator also describes a cached-data smoke test that can run without network access or a model, and says CI runs it on each push. That test description does not establish that your local refresh works or that the test covers live Yahoo Finance access.
If you need fresher or structured Mexico market data
The creator names the Kun Data API README as a separate developer option that describes BMV and BIVA coverage, token-authenticated access, WebSocket updates, historical OHLCV, and snapshot queries. It is not a BolsaBuddy fix. Check the provider’s current documentation for freshness, exchange coverage, authentication, permitted use, and licensing before deciding whether it suits your project.
An independent review says the BMV market-information page labels its displayed information as 20 minutes delayed. That description applies to the official page, not Yahoo Finance, and does not establish Yahoo Finance’s delay. Check each provider’s own terms and displayed timestamps rather than assuming all sources refresh at the same rate.
