If you can’t access the email on your Roblox account, try the phone recovery option if a phone number was already added to the account. If neither an accessible email nor an attached phone number is available, contact Roblox Customer Support and explain the login problem. Roblox requires proof of ownership before it resets an account or changes its details, so support is the official route—not a guaranteed recovery.
Try password recovery with an attached phone number
This works only if a phone number was already added to the Roblox account and you can receive messages at that number. Roblox’s password reset flow asks you to verify a six-digit code before creating a new password. Follow the steps on Roblox’s I Forgot My Password page:
- On the Roblox login page, select Forgot Password or Username?
- Choose the Phone tab.
- Select the country code and enter the phone number attached to the account.
- Request the code, enter the six-digit verification code, and follow the prompts to set a new password.
Choose a new, unique password rather than reusing your old one or a password used on another site. Phone-number login is a separate feature from password reset: Roblox says it is available in some apps and requires a verified number, so it may not be available on every platform or in every region. See Logging In with Your Phone Number.
Contact Roblox Support if you have no usable email or phone
Roblox’s standard reset feature cannot reset an account when no email address or phone number was added to it. In that case, contact Roblox Customer Support and describe the login issue. Roblox states in I Forgot My Password that “All players must verify ownership of an account before it can be reset or any information changed.”

Provide accurate account details and respond to Support through the official channel. Roblox does not publish one universal list of alternative evidence it will accept for every account, and a support request does not guarantee access will be restored.
If you think the account was hacked or its email changed
Secure the device you use to sign in, then contact Support if you cannot complete password recovery. Roblox recommends removing unsafe downloads and browser extensions and running a full virus scan. If you regain access, reset the password and enable 2-Step Verification.

For an ownership review, Roblox says the first email address added to the account or the billing email used for the very first payment can be useful—even if an attacker changed the account email. Roblox Support’s My account was hacked – What do I do? cautions that “providing this information does not guarantee account recovery.” If the account had no email or credit-card or PayPal purchase associated with its creation, Roblox says it can still explore other verification options, but does not list every option publicly.
If you have forgotten the username too
Roblox’s I Forgot My Username process uses an email or phone number already attached to the account. If you cannot use either, check receipts for Roblox purchases: some receipts include the account username. If you cannot identify it that way, contact Support about the separate account-ownership issue.

If 2-Step Verification is stopping you from logging in
Losing access to an email and losing the primary 2-Step Verification (2SV) method are different problems. Roblox says recovery from a lost 2SV method requires two different verification methods in the account details. Its Troubleshooting 2-Step Verification page describes backup codes, a phone number for eligible users, a passkey, and approval from another device. Backup codes are one-time-use and are shown only when generated; store them securely. If none of the offered methods works, contact Roblox Customer Support.

Use Roblox’s official website, apps, and Support channel. Roblox warns users not to share passwords, browser cookies, 2SV codes, backup codes, personal details, or sensitive computer information; employees will not ask for those secrets.
