Choose one walkable Dallas district for most of your brunch stops, then add another neighborhood only if its food is worth a planned transit trip. Downtown is the DART Rail interchange; Deep Ellum has a rail station, and the Dallas Streetcar connects downtown’s Union Station with Bishop Arts. Those connections make a crawl possible, but they do not include the walk to a stop, waiting, transfers, or time at the table.
Choose a compact district before you choose your stops
A good crawl is not a contest to visit the most neighborhoods. Start with two or three venues close enough to make the day feel like brunch rather than a transit itinerary. Bishop Arts and Deep Ellum are useful starting clusters; Uptown is another option. Combining districts can work, but only after checking the actual trip between the restaurant addresses.

Bishop Arts
Several brunch options make Bishop Arts a natural one-district outing. Paradiso lists Saturday–Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 308 N. Bishop Avenue. Lunami Latin Cuisine lists brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and gives a Bishop Arts address; its site lists Wednesday–Sunday daytime hours. Oddfellows is also in the district, posts daily hours, and says it does not take brunch reservations. Confirm each venue’s current hours and status before planning a timed sequence.

Deep Ellum
Elm & Good lists all-day brunch from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2551 Elm Street. The restaurant says Deep Ellum DART station is about a five-minute walk from its entrance; your walk will depend on where you start and which entrance you use. Check Elm & Good’s current information.
Uptown
Good Graces lists Saturday–Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3033 Fairmount Street. It can anchor an Uptown plan, but use DART’s trip planner to check the last-mile connection for your specific starting point. Check Good Graces’ current information.
Use transit connections without assuming they save time
DART’s four rail lines converge through downtown, making it a transfer point between rail-served districts. The agency says its rail system serves 65 stations. Its current rail overview lists service every 15 minutes during peak periods, every 20 minutes midday, and every 30 minutes late at night. DART’s transit-services overview separately gives a 20-minute interval for midday and weekends; actual service can vary, and holidays may affect schedules. Buses vary by neighborhood, so there is no reliable citywide travel-time assumption.
For Bishop Arts, the Dallas Streetcar links Oak Cliff with downtown Dallas at Union Station. Visit Dallas describes the service to Bishop Arts and reports 20-minute frequency; check current schedules and alerts before relying on that interval. A rail or streetcar line gets you near an area, not necessarily to a restaurant’s door. Include both ends of the trip, any transfer, and the wait in your plan.

Plan the crawl in five steps
- Choose your day and first seating window. Several listed venues offer brunch only on weekends, while Lunami lists broader weekly hours. Start with the hours that match your date.
- Pick two or three venues in one district. Check that their current brunch windows overlap with the time you intend to visit. Look for reservation policies; Oddfellows says it does not take brunch reservations.
- Enter exact restaurant addresses in DART’s trip planner. Check the timetable for your travel date, especially for bus legs, holidays, late starts, or transfers. A map connection alone is not a door-to-door itinerary.
- Decide whether a second district earns its travel time. If you combine Bishop Arts with a rail-served neighborhood, check the streetcar and rail schedules first. Allow time for walks, waits, and transfers rather than chaining distant brunch options because they appear on the same map.
- Recheck shortly before leaving. Confirm restaurant hours and reservations, then review DART schedules and service alerts for the day.

Exact journey times depend on your addresses, date, service, and walking route, so choose between plans using the practical factors below rather than a generic estimate.
