During Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, the standard Epic Sonic Power Sneakers were reported in chests, as floor loot, and in Llama Supply Drops. To try for the Mythic version, defeat Dr. Eggman—but the drop is chance-based, not guaranteed. These are season-specific routes; current availability after that season or a later update is not confirmed.
What Sonic Power Sneakers do
They are a gameplay item, not a cosmetic shoe. PlayStation’s Fortnite information page lists the sneakers among Chapter 7 Season 4 items and describes a Spin Dash on the ground and a Spin Attack while airborne.
How to find the standard Epic sneakers
Guides published or updated August 21, 2026, reported these routes for the standard version:
- Search chests: Check chests as you loot buildings and other areas.
- Check floor loot: Look for the item among loot on the ground.
- Open Llama Supply Drops: The guides report these as another possible source.
- Loot eliminated players: One guide also reports that a player carrying the sneakers may drop them when eliminated.
These are reported sources, not guaranteed spawns. The guides do not provide drop rates or a reliable location where the item will always appear. See the August 21, 2026 reports from Beebom and AllThingsHow.

How to get the Mythic version
Both guides identify Dr. Eggman as the route to the Mythic Sonic Power Sneakers. Defeating him gives you a chance at the Mythic drop; it does not guarantee the sneakers. The guides do not state a drop probability, so there is no supported way to estimate how many attempts it may take.
Which route should you try?
| Route | Reported reward | Effort and risk | Certainty |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chests, floor loot, Llama Supply Drops, or eliminated players | Standard Epic sneakers | Search and loot during a match | Random; no guaranteed source or drop rate is stated by Beebom or AllThingsHow. |
| Defeat Dr. Eggman | Chance at Mythic sneakers | Challenge the boss | Chance-based; not guaranteed, according to AllThingsHow. |
If you want the standard item, loot as you play and check supply drops. If you specifically want Mythic, take on Dr. Eggman knowing the reward may not appear.

Epic Games’ Sonic Power Sneakers support result concerns an item-specific issue; it does not confirm current drop availability.
