If Battlin will not let you sign in, register, link your game account or join a tournament, work through the problem in this order: verify the phone number and sign-in message, update and restart the app, confirm the intended game account is linked, then check the event’s rules, deadline, capacity and squad requirements. If the failure remains, send Battlin support the exact error and event details rather than repeatedly submitting the same request.
Battlin is KRAFTON’s mobile tournament platform for India. Its documented flow is phone-number sign-in, one-time game-account linking, tournament discovery and joining, squad registration, event updates and result tracking.
Start with the failure point
Identify the first step that fails. A phone sign-in problem is an account-authentication issue; a disabled Join or Register control is usually an event-eligibility, deadline, capacity or roster issue. Treating both as an “app bug” leads to repeated retries that cannot change the underlying condition.

The checklist below separates checks documented by Battlin from general mobile-app troubleshooting inferences. Battlin does not publish a complete error-code catalogue, so an unfamiliar code should be reported verbatim rather than interpreted from a guessed list.

Fix Battlin phone login and OTP problems
1. Re-enter the phone number exactly
Battlin documents phone-number sign-in. Enter the number associated with the Battlin profile and use the country or region format shown by the app. Check for a missing digit, an extra leading zero or a wrong country selection. If you have more than one SIM or number, make sure the device receiving the sign-in message is the one you are using for the request.
These formatting and reception checks are practical troubleshooting steps inferred from the phone-login flow; Battlin has not published a universal OTP-error guide.
2. Check message delivery before requesting another code
- Confirm the phone has cellular coverage or another connection required to receive the message.
- Check blocked, filtered or spam message folders and any device setting that silences unknown senders.
- Make sure the handset is not in airplane mode and can receive ordinary messages.
- If a resend control is available, wait for the previous request to expire before requesting a new one. Multiple active requests can make an older code invalid.
Use only the newest code delivered for the current request. Never share a one-time code with another person, including someone claiming to be support.

The app listings show active releases containing bug fixes and user-experience updates. Install the latest Battlin release offered by the relevant app store, force-close the app, restart the phone and try the sign-in again on a stable connection. Do not rely on a stale app session after an update; a full restart clears that session without deleting your account.
If the store shows no update, check that the installation completed and that you opened the current Battlin app rather than an older copy or a shortcut to an outdated installation.

4. Test the connection without changing account data
Retry once on a reliable Wi-Fi connection and once on mobile data if both are available. This comparison helps distinguish a network path problem from an account problem. Avoid repeatedly switching networks while a sign-in request is pending; wait for that request to expire, then make one fresh attempt.
A successful sign-in on one network but not another points to the failing connection or its filtering. If both connections fail with the same message, record the exact wording and time for support.

Creating another account can leave the wrong phone number or game account attached to a tournament profile. First recover access to the original number or ask support how to correct the profile association. Battlin’s public materials do not state a guaranteed account-recovery time, so do not assume a duplicate profile can later be merged.
When Battlin opens but registration is blocked
Confirm the game account link
Battlin says the game account is linked once and then associated with the profile. Open the account or profile area and verify that the intended game account appears. If the wrong account is shown, stop before registering: a team entry made with the wrong identity may not be transferable under an event’s rules.
Also open the game itself and confirm that the linked account can sign in and load normally. A game-side outage, signed-out session or account restriction can prevent Battlin from validating the link even when the Battlin app is working.

Complete any required profile fields
Registration can remain unavailable until the profile and game-link steps are complete. Move through every required field shown by Battlin, save the profile, then return to the tournament page. If a field appears complete but the button remains disabled, close and reopen the event after saving; this refresh is a general app troubleshooting step, not a documented Battlin guarantee.

Each tournament controls its own timing, game, format, roster and capacity. A working login does not override those conditions. Open the specific tournament page and read the rules before trying another device or reinstalling the app.
Registration window
Check the displayed opening and closing times and the time zone used by the event page. If registration has closed, no phone, network or reinstall fix can reopen it. If the deadline is close, finish the roster and submit before the displayed cutoff rather than waiting for a final-minute retry.
Available slots
Battlin describes event filters for timing and slots. A tournament can stop accepting entries when its published capacity is reached, even if the event itself has not started. A full event is an eligibility condition, not evidence that your account is broken.
Game and format
Confirm that the tournament is for the game account you linked and that its mode matches your intended entry. A solo event will not accept a squad flow, while a squad event may reject an incomplete or oversized roster. Follow the exact team size and role requirements shown on that event page.

Rules and regional restrictions
Read the event rules for age, region, platform, account or eligibility restrictions. Battlin’s platform is aimed at India’s competitive gaming scene, but the applicable region and any additional restriction are set by each event. Do not infer eligibility from another tournament’s page.
Finish the squad-registration flow
Invite every required teammate
Start the team flow from the event page, add the required players and send their invitations. Each teammate must accept the invite or complete the roster step required by the event. A partially accepted invitation can leave the team in a pending state even when the captain sees the event in their own account.
Check the final team state
Return to the event page after all players have completed their steps. Verify that the intended team name and roster appear as registered, not merely as a draft, pending invite or saved lineup. Battlin’s event flow places roster information, chat, schedules, room details and standings together, so use the event page as the authoritative status view.
Resolve a stuck or duplicated entry
Do not create several teams for the same event while one registration is pending. First capture the current status and ask the team captain to confirm whether an invite is waiting. If the event still shows an incorrect roster after every teammate has acted, contact support with the tournament name, captain’s phone number and the affected player names. The public materials do not promise that duplicate or locked entries can be self-corrected.
Use the event page to verify that joining succeeded
A button press is not proof of registration. Look for the event’s registered-team state, the final roster and any check-in or schedule instructions. Save a screenshot of that confirmation, especially when the event has a hard deadline. Battlin describes organizer-run brackets, check-in handling, verified leaderboards and tournament updates; those later stages can have their own instructions after registration is accepted.

If you can see the tournament in discovery but cannot find a confirmation, treat the entry as incomplete until the event page shows the registered state or support confirms it.

KRAFTON’s 17 October 2026 launch release describes Battlin Open Season 1 as BGMI-first. For that named event, registrations are open through 1 November 2026, competition runs from 2 to 29 November 2026, and the release lists more than 5,000 slots and a ₹20,00,000 prize pool. It also says a BGIS slot is on the line.
Those dates, capacity and prizes apply only to Battlin Open Season 1. Other tournaments can use different games, formats, deadlines, slot limits and eligibility rules. If you are trying to join Open Season 1, check the live event page for the current slot count and the exact registration state rather than relying on a saved screenshot or an older announcement.
Device and app checks when the account and event look correct
Refresh the local app state safely
- Finish or cancel any pending sign-in request.
- Force-close Battlin.
- Restart the phone.
- Install any available Battlin update.
- Open the app on a stable connection and sign in again.
These steps refresh the local session without changing the linked game account. Avoid clearing app data or uninstalling while you still need evidence from the current session; those actions can remove locally stored state and make diagnosis harder. If you do reinstall, keep the phone number and linked-account details available so you can sign back in consistently.
Compare another device only as a diagnostic
If you have access to another compatible phone, testing the same account and event there can show whether the failure follows the account or stays with the original device. Use the same phone number and intended game account. A failure on both devices points toward account, event or service conditions; a failure on only one points toward that device or its network. This comparison does not bypass event rules or capacity limits.
Contact Battlin support with evidence that can be acted on
The official app listing gives the support address support@battlin.gg. Send one clear report rather than a series of identical messages. Include:
- The Battlin account phone number, partially masked in copies of the message.
- The tournament name and, if visible, its event identifier.
- Your device model and operating-system version.
- The Battlin app version shown on the device.
- The exact error text, including capitalization or code.
- The date and time of the failed attempt and the time zone.
- Whether the issue occurred on Wi-Fi, mobile data or both.
- The linked game account status and whether the game itself opens successfully.
- A screenshot showing the error or the incomplete roster, with private information hidden where practical.
Never send a password, one-time sign-in code, payment credential or an unmasked identity document unless an official support process specifically requires it and explains how it will be handled. Battlin does not publish a guaranteed support response time, so keep the event deadline in the message and retain your original evidence.

Prevent registration problems before the deadline
- Link the intended game account before the tournament opens.
- Read the event rules and note the registration cutoff, game, format, roster size and slot limit.
- Invite teammates early enough for every acceptance or roster step to finish.
- Keep the Battlin app updated instead of waiting until the final hour.
- Check the event page for a registered-team confirmation and save it.
- Record the app version, device and exact error if anything fails.
- Protect the phone number and never disclose one-time codes or passwords.
When a tournament is closed, full or incompatible with the linked game account or roster, the correct outcome is to follow another eligible event or contact the organizer through the official support route—not to keep retrying authentication.
