When planning a location, think of the model as both a display piece and a small, manually operated mechanism. A spot can be large enough for the build but still awkward if you cannot see the front clearly, reach the crank or get a hand behind Yoshi’s head. Decide whether you expect to turn the controls regularly before choosing a tight shelf, adding nearby decorations or enclosing the model.

A clean, simple background and indirect room light are optional styling choices that can help the sprite silhouette stand out. They are not included features or tested viewing conditions. If you add a lamp or riser, keep it clear of the controls.

A simple way to plan is to first identify the shelf or desk where you want the set, then compare its available height, width and depth with LEGO’s published model dimensions. Next, look at the space around that proposed footprint: can you see the front without leaning around another object, and can you reach both controls without pulling the model forward? If not, choose a less crowded position or allow room to move the model temporarily when operating or cleaning it.

Can I still turn the crank in a case?
Do not assume so from the listed dimensions alone. A case can have enough interior volume for the model yet leave too little finger room at the base or behind Yoshi’s head. Before buying, ask the case maker whether the cover can be lifted or removed easily and whether both controls remain reachable; if those details are unclear, plan to remove the cover before operating the model.
