To buy Bluehost Managed VPS hosting, compare the three tiers by CPU, memory, and storage, then confirm the full 36-month charge, renewal rate, data-center availability, support scope, and backup plan before checkout. The lowest advertised monthly price is tied to a long initial term, and Bluehost says VPS backups are customer-managed.
The plans and purchase details below reflect Bluehost’s official product and help pages checked on October 25, 2026. Prices, offers, features, and location availability can change; treat the checkout and applicable terms for your region as definitive.

How do I buy Bluehost Managed VPS hosting?
Bluehost’s purchase guide directs customers to its Managed VPS page, where it lists Standard NVMe 4, Enhanced NVMe 8, and Ultimate NVMe 16. Before choosing a tier, decide what resources your workload needs and what server administration you want the provider to handle. Then inspect the plan details and order summary rather than choosing by the introductory monthly amount alone.
- List the workload requirements. Note how many sites or applications you intend to host, what software they need, how much storage they use, and whether usage is likely to grow. Record current disk use, database size, memory pressure, scheduled jobs, and any operating-system or control-panel requirements you already know. The published plan specifications do not establish a visits-per-month capacity or a performance guarantee for a particular site.
- Compare the three resource allocations. Check vCPU, RAM, and NVMe storage in the plan table below. Choose based on the workload’s actual requirements; do not treat a higher tier as a guaranteed speed increase.
- Check location availability. Identify where most of your audience is and see whether the corresponding data center is selectable for the plan in your checkout.
- Review the order summary. Confirm the initial term, total charge, introductory rate, renewal rate, taxes, any selected extras, and refund terms for your region.
- Resolve operations before migrating. Establish who handles application work, how you will back up and restore the site, and whether your specific site qualifies for migration.
Bluehost’s purchase guide and product page contain the purchase path and plan details. The pages’ published terms are not a substitute for the order summary: verify the exact configuration and charges displayed when you are ready to buy.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Prepare a short pre-purchase checklist
Have a current inventory ready before opening checkout. Include the number of domains, databases, mailboxes, staging environments, and scheduled tasks you expect to move. Note the current storage used by files and databases, plus any software versions that the application requires. This information helps you decide whether 100 GB, 200 GB, or 450 GB is a sensible starting point and gives Bluehost concrete details for a migration or support question.
Also identify the person responsible for server administration, security review, backup checks, and restore tests. Managed service can cover specified server tasks, but your team still owns the application and the data unless the written service terms say otherwise.

Which Bluehost Managed VPS plan should I choose?
Compare the tiers on the resources Bluehost publishes: vCPU, RAM, and NVMe storage. The right choice depends on the requirements of your sites and applications, not an assumed traffic limit or a performance ranking.
| Plan | Displayed monthly offer | Term shown | Listed renewal rate | vCPU | RAM | NVMe storage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard NVMe 4 | $49.99/month | 36 months | $68.99/month | 2 | 4 GB DDR5 | 100 GB |
| Enhanced NVMe 8 | $68.99/month | 36 months | $98.99/month | 4 | 8 GB DDR5 | 200 GB |
| Ultimate NVMe 16 | $97.99/month | 36 months | $143.99/month | 8 | 16 GB DDR5 | 450 GB |
These are the USD offers displayed by Bluehost for a 36-month term, with the listed renewal rates, as checked October 25, 2026. They are not independent quotes, and the amounts may change. A displayed monthly figure is not necessarily the amount charged each month; check whether checkout collects the term’s price upfront or on another schedule, and verify the total for your region.
When might Standard be enough?
Standard has the smallest published allocation: 2 vCPU, 4 GB DDR5 RAM, and 100 GB of NVMe storage. It is the tier to evaluate when those resources fit the application’s requirements and foreseeable storage needs. The specifications alone do not show how many sites, visitors, or simultaneous tasks it can support.
Leave room for operating-system services, databases, logs, backups you temporarily store on the server, and growth. If your measured usage is already close to any of those limits, choosing Standard solely because it has the lowest advertised price may create an avoidable upgrade decision soon after launch.
What changes with Enhanced?
Enhanced doubles Standard’s listed CPU count and memory to 4 vCPU and 8 GB DDR5 RAM, and doubles storage to 200 GB. Consider it when the lower allocation does not fit your documented needs or when you need more room for expected growth. Bluehost’s listed figures do not quantify the performance difference for a particular workload.
Enhanced can also provide more headroom for multiple sites or services, but the table does not say how many applications it supports. Use your own measurements and application requirements rather than assuming that doubling a resource produces a predictable user-facing result.
What does Ultimate add?
Ultimate lists 8 vCPU, 16 GB DDR5 RAM, and 450 GB of NVMe storage. It provides the largest allocations among these three published tiers. More resources can be relevant for a larger or more resource-intensive workload, but the plan table does not establish a traffic threshold or guarantee that an application will run well.

Can I upgrade later instead of choosing the largest plan now?
Bluehost’s product page says customers can upgrade CPU, RAM, and storage as needs grow. The available material does not establish the current upgrade steps, fees, timing, or whether an upgrade requires downtime. Before relying on an upgrade path, ask Bluehost how your exact plan and configuration can be changed and what the change will cost.
Request the answer in writing if an upgrade is central to your decision. Confirm whether the new price begins immediately or at renewal, whether storage changes affect backups or partitioning, and whether you must schedule maintenance. Until those details are confirmed, treat an upgrade as a possibility rather than a guaranteed, frictionless escape from an undersized plan.
How much does Bluehost Managed VPS cost after renewal?
Bluehost lists renewal rates of $68.99 per month for Standard, $98.99 for Enhanced, and $143.99 for Ultimate, following displayed introductory offers of $49.99, $68.99, and $97.99 per month, respectively, for the 36-month term. Compare both the initial commitment and the expected renewal cost when budgeting; the lower offer is not the ongoing price shown on the product page.
For perspective, multiplying the displayed introductory monthly figures by 36 gives approximate pre-tax, pre-add-on subtotals of $1,799.64 for Standard, $2,483.64 for Enhanced, and $3,527.64 for Ultimate. These calculations do not prove how Bluehost will collect payment, and they do not include taxes, optional services, currency conversion, or any different offer shown to you. Use the checkout total as the authoritative amount.

The exact bill can depend on checkout details such as billing term, region, taxes, selected add-ons, and current offer. Before placing an order, check:
- How long the initial term lasts and the total amount due for that term.
- Which rate applies after the first term and how often the renewal charge recurs.
- Whether taxes or optional services change the amount shown.
- Whether your order’s currency and offer match the displayed USD prices.
- Whether the cart has preselected services that you do not need.
Bluehost’s pricing material says promotional rates apply to the initial term and renew at the regular rate. It also says domain registrations and add-ons may be excluded from refunds. Read the terms that apply to your order instead of assuming every line item has the same refund eligibility.
What is included with a Bluehost Managed VPS plan?
Bluehost lists cPanel, unmetered bandwidth, two dedicated IP addresses, multiple data-center choices, and a 30-day money-back guarantee among the plan details. Its included essentials also list free SSL, cPanel licensing, and eligible site migration. Confirm which items apply to your selected configuration and whether a migration qualifies before paying.
cPanel licensing means the control-panel software is listed as part of the plan; it does not mean Bluehost will configure every application inside cPanel for you. Likewise, two dedicated IP addresses are an included allocation, not a statement that you must host two sites or use both addresses. Ask support about any special IP, DNS, mail, or certificate setup your application requires.

- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
“Unmetered” is the wording Bluehost uses for bandwidth; it does not answer every question about acceptable use or resource limits. Read the applicable service terms for limits and exclusions, and do not infer that it means every workload or volume of use is supported without restriction.
Free SSL helps address certificate coverage, but verify which domains and renewal process are included. If your site uses several domains, unusual validation requirements, or nonstandard software, confirm the certificate arrangement during setup.
Bluehost also advertises a 99.99% uptime SLA on the product page. That is the provider’s published claim, not an independently measured uptime result for your site. Review the SLA itself for its coverage, measurement method, exclusions, and any remedy; the headline percentage alone does not establish what compensation, if any, applies in a specific incident.
What does Bluehost manage on a VPS?
Bluehost describes Managed VPS as server-level management. Its listed managed work includes operating-system setup and updates, security patches and firewall configuration, server monitoring, web-server, database, and control-panel support, and server-related technical support.
In practical terms, this scope addresses the underlying server environment: keeping the operating system current, applying stated security fixes, configuring firewall protection, watching server health, and helping with supported web, database, and control-panel services. It can reduce routine administration, but the exact action taken still depends on the issue and the applicable support terms.
This scope can reduce the amount of routine server administration the customer must perform, but it is not a promise that Bluehost will build or maintain an application or debug arbitrary code. The cited product and comparison pages do not establish unlimited bespoke engineering or application support. Bluehost’s comparison material describes self-managed VPS differently: the customer is responsible for administration, maintenance, and security.
For example, a server service failure may fall within server-related support, while a defect in a custom plugin, a framework upgrade, or application business logic may remain your developer’s responsibility. Ask where Bluehost draws that line for your stack, especially if you do not have an administrator available.
The product page advertises 24/7 support, while Bluehost’s managed VPS comparison describes support as limited to Bluehost account support. Treat support availability and support scope as separate questions. Before purchase, ask whether the particular task you may need—such as diagnosing a server service or troubleshooting application code—is within the included support boundary.
Which Bluehost data center should I choose?
Bluehost lists nine locations: Virginia and Arizona in the United States; Toronto, Canada; London, United Kingdom; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Frankfurt, Germany; Mumbai, India; Singapore; and Sydney, Australia. Its page says choosing a location can help reduce latency. That is Bluehost’s claim; no independent latency measurements for the locations were established.

As a starting point, consider where most of your site’s users are located, then verify that your preferred location is available for the plan and configuration at checkout. A location nearer to users may be a reasonable first choice, but geography alone does not predict complete application performance. Your content delivery setup, database calls, external APIs, and the users’ actual networks also matter.
The published location list does not establish that every location is selectable in every region or for every order. If your audience is distributed across several regions, or your application has particular hosting or data-location requirements, confirm the available choices and suitability with Bluehost before purchase.
If legal or contractual data residency matters, do not treat a city or country selector as proof of compliance. Ask where backups, logs, support access, and other processed data are stored, then review the terms that govern your account.
Does Bluehost VPS include backups?
No automatic VPS backups are provided, according to Bluehost’s help page. VPS customers must configure and manage their own backups, so backup and restore planning is an operational requirement rather than an optional detail to leave until after launch.
Bluehost identifies CodeGuard as a third-party option that customers can purchase directly; it is not offered directly by Bluehost for VPS. Verify that any backup service you select supports your VPS setup and the type of data you need to protect. Confirm whether it captures databases consistently, protects configuration files, and can restore permissions and ownership correctly.
Before moving a live site, establish:
- How often files and databases are backed up, and whether the schedule meets your recovery needs.
- How long backup copies are retained and where they are stored.
- How to restore a full site or only a selected file or database.
- Whether you can test a restore without disrupting the production site.
- The recurring cost and who is responsible for checking that backups complete successfully.
- How backups are protected from accidental deletion or compromised account credentials.
A backup that has never been restored is not a verified recovery plan. Arrange a test restore and document the steps before depending on the VPS for a production site. Include backup administration in your staffing and budget calculations; managed VPS does not transfer that responsibility according to Bluehost’s help guidance.

Use the order review to resolve the uncertainties that can change the cost or operating responsibilities. A lower advertised rate is not a complete buying decision if the term, upgrade path, backup process, or support boundary does not fit your needs.
- Price and term: Confirm the full initial charge, length of the commitment, renewal amount, taxes, currency, and any selected extras.
- Resources: Match vCPU, RAM, and NVMe storage to the workload; ask about the cost and mechanics of future upgrades.
- Location: Verify that your preferred data center can be selected for your order and configuration.
- Support: Distinguish server administration from application development and site-specific debugging.
- Backups: Decide on frequency, retention, restore testing, responsibility, storage location, and ongoing expense.
- Migration: Confirm that the specific site is eligible and clarify what migration work includes, what you must supply, and whether any downtime is expected.
- Refund terms: Check the 30-day guarantee’s eligibility and exclusions for the order, including treatment of domains and add-ons.
- Service terms: Review the applicable SLA and terms rather than relying only on a headline uptime claim or product-page summary.
- Renewal reminders: Record the renewal date and expected regular rate so the cost is not a surprise after the initial term.
Save the order summary, selected location, plan name, and terms that applied at purchase. Those records make it easier to compare a future renewal notice with what you originally agreed to and to explain the configuration when contacting support.
Bluehost’s published pages provide useful plan specifications and a purchase route, but they do not establish the performance your individual site will achieve or every term of a specific order. Make the final decision using the resources you need, the total commitment you can accept, and the operational work you are prepared to own.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Bluehost publish how many visitors a Managed VPS plan can handle?
The published plan details provide CPU, RAM, and storage allocations, but they do not establish a visitor-per-month or concurrent-user limit. Traffic capacity depends on the site and workload, so request workload-specific guidance rather than converting the resource table into a visitor estimate.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Do two dedicated IP addresses mean I need to configure two websites?
No such requirement is established by the plan details. Bluehost lists two dedicated IP addresses as included, but the published information does not explain how a customer must use them; ask support whether a particular IP configuration is needed for your setup.
Does a data-center location choice guarantee that my site meets data-residency rules?
A listed server location by itself does not establish legal or contractual compliance for your organization. If data residency matters, confirm where all relevant data is stored and processed and review the terms that apply to your use case.
Can I cancel during the 30-day money-back period and get every charge back?
The product page advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee, while Bluehost’s pricing material says domain registrations and add-ons may be excluded from refunds. Check the terms for your region and order to determine which charges qualify and how to request a refund.
Is the 36-month advertised price the amount I pay each month?
The plans are displayed with monthly figures tied to a 36-month term, but the order summary determines how Bluehost collects payment. Check whether the term is billed upfront or on another schedule, and confirm the total, taxes, currency, and add-ons before submitting payment.
What happens to my price after the first 36 months?
Bluehost lists renewal rates of $68.99 per month for Standard, $98.99 for Enhanced, and $143.99 for Ultimate. Rates can change, so verify the renewal amount and billing frequency shown for your account and region.
Will Bluehost fix my custom application under Managed VPS support?
Managed service covers listed server-level work such as operating-system updates, security patches, firewall configuration, monitoring, and web-server, database, and control-panel support. The published descriptions do not promise application development or debugging of arbitrary code. Confirm the boundary for your specific software.
Are VPS backups automatically included?
No. Bluehost’s help guidance says automatic VPS backups are not provided and that customers must configure and manage backups. Bluehost identifies CodeGuard as a third-party option purchased directly, so verify compatibility, retention, restore procedures, and cost for any solution you choose.
Can I move my existing site to Bluehost Managed VPS?
Bluehost lists eligible site migration among the included essentials, but eligibility and the exact work included should be confirmed for your site. Ask what access, software details, timing, and customer-side tasks are required and whether any downtime is expected.
Does choosing a nearby data center guarantee faster loading?
Bluehost says location choice can help reduce latency, but no independent measurements or performance guarantee were established. Select based on audience geography and your requirements, then verify that the location is available for your exact plan.
The Bottom Line
Choose among Standard NVMe 4, Enhanced NVMe 8, and Ultimate NVMe 16 by documenting your vCPU, RAM, and storage needs, not by assuming a visitor limit. Price the full 36-month commitment and the higher renewal rate, confirm the data center and migration eligibility, clarify what Managed support does and does not cover, and arrange customer-managed backups with a tested restore before launch.
