You can follow the Call of Duty League (CDL) in Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, but the right method depends on whether you have a genuine public calendar feed. The official CDL schedule page currently provides season, stage/event and team filters, plus match times converted to your local time; the retrieved page does not provide an ICS, iCal, webcal or Add to Calendar control. If a trusted schedule provider gives you a public ICS or webcal URL, subscribe to it. Otherwise, use the official schedule to add selected matches manually.
Use the official CDL schedule as the authority for fixtures. Recheck it before each Major because the league warns: “Dates and locations subject to change.”
What the official CDL schedule provides
The official Call of Duty League schedule is the starting point for either calendar. It lets you select a season, narrow the view to a stage or event, and filter by team. Match dates and start times are shown in the viewer’s local time, which is useful when you are creating events yourself.
The schedule page retrieved for this guide does not expose an ICS, iCal, webcal or Add to Calendar link. That distinction matters: a webpage showing fixtures is not itself a calendar subscription URL. Do not paste the ordinary schedule-page address into a calendar’s “From URL” field and expect it to work. Google and Apple need a published calendar feed that returns calendar data.

Use the official schedule whenever you need to verify a matchup, start time, stage or team filter. If a provider later publishes a verified CDL feed, you can use the subscription procedures below without changing the source of your reminders.
Choose between a feed subscription and manual events

Because the official page does not currently publish a feed in the retrieved content, manual entry is the dependable option today unless you already have a verified subscription URL from another provider.
Prepare before adding anything
- Decide whether you want every CDL match, one Major, or a particular team’s fixtures.
- Check the season selector on the official schedule; do not assume a previous season’s event list still applies.
- Note the stage or event name, both teams, the displayed local start time and the official match page.
- Choose a separate calendar, such as “CDL,” so you can hide or delete league events without affecting personal appointments.
- Allow for schedule changes. A reminder created today is not proof that the match will keep the same date, location or start time.
Add a CDL feed to Google Calendar
This method applies only when you possess a public ICS, iCal or webcal URL. The normal CDL schedule webpage is not a substitute for that feed.

Subscribe on a computer
- Open Google Calendar in a desktop web browser and sign in to the Google account that should receive the schedule.
- In the left-hand column, find Other calendars.
- Click the + or add control beside Other calendars, then choose From URL.
- Paste the complete public calendar URL into the URL field. Keep the protocol and path exactly as supplied; do not add tracking text or alter the address.
- Click Add calendar.
- Look under Other calendars for the new subscription. Open a match to confirm that the event title, time and time zone look sensible.
Google documents that a new calendar subscription must be created in a computer browser. The Google Calendar apps for Android, iPhone and iPad do not provide this “From URL” creation workflow. After the subscription exists, the calendar can appear on devices signed in to the same account, subject to your sync settings.
If Google rejects the URL
- “Could not fetch” or an invalid URL: confirm that the provider supplied a calendar feed, not a page used to browse fixtures. Ask for the complete ICS or webcal address.
- The calendar adds but contains no events: the feed may be empty, limited to a future date range, or temporarily unavailable. Check the provider’s documentation and test again later.
- Events are in the wrong time: inspect your Google Calendar time-zone setting and the event’s displayed zone. Do not manually shift every event until you know whether the feed includes a time-zone definition.
- Old fixtures remain: a subscription reflects what the publisher sends. If the publisher has not corrected a match, contact that provider rather than editing hundreds of subscribed events individually.
- You cannot find the calendar on a phone: verify that the phone uses the same Google account and that the calendar is enabled in the app’s calendar list.
Add a CDL internet calendar in Apple Calendar
Apple Calendar supports internet calendars and accounts, including iCloud and Google calendars. The exact command names differ between macOS and iOS or iPadOS releases, so look for an option named Add Calendar, New Calendar Subscription or similar.
On a Mac
- Open the Calendar app.
- Use the app’s menu or sidebar add control and choose the command for a new calendar subscription or an internet calendar.
- Paste the public ICS or webcal URL supplied by the provider.
- Continue to the subscription settings. Give the calendar a recognizable name, choose a color and select the iCloud or other account where it should be stored, if prompted.
- Save or subscribe, then open a few events to verify their times and details.
A provider may also offer a subscription button that hands the link directly to Apple Calendar. That handoff still depends on a valid public calendar URL; a normal CDL schedule webpage cannot be converted into a feed merely by opening it in Calendar.

On iPhone or iPad
- Open the Calendar app or the system account settings, depending on the version of iOS or iPadOS.
- Choose the option to add a calendar or add a subscribed calendar.
- Paste the public ICS or webcal address.
- Review the calendar name, account and color, then save the subscription.
- Return to the calendar list and make sure the subscribed calendar is enabled.
Because Apple changes menu wording across releases, do not rely on a single path being identical on every device. If the device does not offer a subscription command, add the feed on a Mac or through the provider’s documented handoff, then enable the same iCloud account on the device.

Apple subscription problems
- No subscription option: update the device if appropriate, check the Calendar settings, or create the subscription on a Mac.
- Feed will not save: verify that the URL is public and begins with the protocol supplied by the publisher. A feed that requires a login may not be accepted as an internet subscription.
- Wrong time zone: compare the event’s time-zone information with the device’s calendar time-zone setting before changing individual events.
- Duplicate events: you may have added the same feed to both iCloud and Google. Keep one subscription and hide or remove the duplicate.
Manually add selected CDL matches
Manual entry is the practical fallback when no verified feed is available. It also works well if you only want a team’s matches or a handful of events.
- Open the official CDL schedule page.
- Select the correct season.
- Choose the stage or event, such as a Major, to reduce the list.
- Use the team filter if you are following one roster. If you want the complete event, leave the team filter broad and work through the match list.
- Record the date and start time exactly as displayed. Those values are localized for the viewer, so avoid applying an additional time-zone conversion.
- Create a new event in Google Calendar or Apple Calendar for each match.
- Use a consistent title such as
CDL — Team A vs Team B. Include the stage or event in the title when several matches occur close together. - Set the event’s start time and an estimated end time that leaves room for the match. If the official schedule provides no end time, avoid presenting your estimate as an official duration.
- In the notes, add the stage, both teams, the source page and any viewing information you personally need. Save the official match link only if you have copied a genuine link from the schedule.
- Add one or more reminders appropriate to your routine, such as a notification shortly before the broadcast. Reminders are your preference, not league data.
- Repeat for the matches you selected, then compare the finished calendar against the filtered official list.
Organize manual events so changes are manageable
- Put every entry in a dedicated CDL calendar rather than your default personal calendar.
- Use the same title pattern for all events so search and bulk review are easier.
- Include the event name and match link in the notes; this gives you a quick route back to the authoritative listing.
- For a multi-day Major, add only confirmed matches if the schedule releases them individually. Do not create placeholder events for times the official page has not published.
- If you follow several teams, keep the team name in each title instead of relying on color alone.
Keep the calendar accurate as the season changes
League schedules are not immutable. The Call of Duty League’s 2027 announcement lists windows for Major I through Major IV and Championship Weekend, but explicitly says: “Dates and locations subject to change.” Treat those windows as planning information, not as a guarantee for an individual match.

Review points for manual calendars
- Check the official schedule before each Major begins.
- Recheck after a stage, venue or broadcast announcement, especially if an event window was previously described broadly.
- Compare the date, local start time, stage and teams—not just the event name.
- Move or delete the calendar event when the official listing changes, and update reminders if the new start time affects your plans.
Review points for subscriptions
- Open a recent event occasionally to confirm that the feed is still updating.
- If a provider reports a change but your calendar does not reflect it, force a refresh where the app allows one, then check the feed provider’s status.
- Keep the official schedule bookmarked as the verification source even when a subscription is working.
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Pasting the schedule webpage into “From URL”
Google’s field expects a public calendar URL that returns ICS-style calendar data. The CDL schedule page retrieved for this guide does not expose such a feed, so its webpage address will not reliably create a subscription.
Trying to create a Google subscription in the mobile app
Google’s documented setup is desktop-only for creating a new URL subscription. Use a computer browser first; then enable the resulting calendar on your mobile devices.

Assuming an Apple menu is universal
Apple’s Calendar commands vary by macOS and iOS or iPadOS release. Look for the current release’s add-calendar or subscription command rather than following a menu label from an older screenshot.

Applying a second time-zone conversion
The official schedule displays match times in the viewer’s local time. When entering those values manually, use them as shown. Only convert if you deliberately switch the calendar to another time zone and understand how that calendar handles the change.
Adding every possible match too early
If the league has published only an event window or an incomplete list, create events only for fixtures with confirmed date and time values. This prevents a calendar full of placeholders that later look like official commitments.
Which approach is best for you?
- Choose a feed subscription when a trusted provider gives you a public ICS or webcal URL and you want broad coverage with fewer manual edits.
- Choose manual entry when you need one team, selected matches, immediate control or a method that does not depend on a third-party feed.
- Use both cautiously only when you can clearly separate their calendars; otherwise, the same fixture may appear twice.
There is no product purchase that adds the CDL schedule by itself. A printed calendar, phone accessory, game copy, headset or controller cannot create a Google or Apple calendar subscription. The useful requirement is a verified calendar feed—or the official schedule and a few minutes of manual entry.
