If Hexowatch alerts are not arriving by email, first verify the recipient address and Email integration in Settings, then check that Email is selected for the specific monitor. Hexowatch lets you choose notification channels per monitored URL, so an account-level setup does not automatically confirm that every monitor is configured to use email.
1. Confirm your account email and Email integration
- Open Hexowatch Settings and check that the recipient email address is spelled correctly.
- Open Settings > Integrations and confirm that the Email communication channel is connected. Dashboard labels may change, so follow the wording in your current account.

2. Check the notification channel on the affected monitor
Open the monitor for the URL that should have generated the alert and inspect its notification settings. Confirm that Email is selected for that monitor; a different monitor’s settings do not establish whether this one will send email. Hexowatch has described the feature this way: “This enables you to specify the notification channel for each monitored URL.” The announcement was published July 21, 2020 and updated August 23, 2022, so use it as an explanation of per-URL settings, not as a guarantee of current dashboard labels: Hexowatch notification options.
3. If you manage monitors through the API, inspect their integration setting
For an API-created or API-managed monitor, check its notification_integrations request parameter and make sure it specifies the intended email integration. Hexowatch’s API documentation lists email among notification integrations: Hexowatch API documentation. The reviewed documentation does not describe a user-facing email test workflow.

4. Check your mail filters
Look in spam or junk, and check any organization-level quarantine or filtering rules. These are sensible recipient-side checks, not a Hexowatch-confirmed cause or documented fix. The Hexowatch materials reviewed do not identify a sender address or domain; do not allowlist an address unless Hexowatch support confirms it is legitimate.
5. Compare with another notification channel
If you already have another channel connected, use it as a diagnostic comparison. Hexowatch identifies Slack and Telegram as alternatives to email and documents a Microsoft Teams integration: Slack integration, Telegram integration, and Microsoft Teams integration.

If the same event arrives through another channel but not email, that is useful evidence that the monitor generated a notification and points toward investigating the email path. It does not identify which mail component failed or prove that Hexowatch accepted or sent an email.
6. Ask Hexowatch support to check delivery
If the address, integration, monitor selection, and recipient-side filters look right, service-side delivery details need confirmation from Hexowatch. The public materials reviewed do not establish a sender identity, mail-log screen, or resend procedure. Contact Hexowatch support and provide:

- The expected event and its approximate time.
- The recipient address (share it privately with support, not publicly).
- Whether the account’s Email integration is connected and Email is selected on that monitor.
- Whether another connected channel received the same event.
Ask support to confirm the legitimate sender address or domain and whether the message was accepted, bounced, or otherwise not delivered. Do not assume a resend is available until support confirms it.
