Google Wallet appears to be developing an Open Finance dashboard that would show which financial institutions send or receive your data, what information is shared, how long access lasts, and whether consent is active or revoked. The feature is not available to users: its details come from unreleased Google Wallet code, so Google could change or drop it before launch.
What the proposed Google Wallet dashboard would show
An APK teardown by Kapill M. Malani, updated October 2, 2026, found the relevant interface strings while comparing unreleased Google Wallet version 26.38.985592722 with an earlier build. One proposed entry is labeled “Manage Open Finance data,” with the description “See shared data via Open Finance with other financial institutions.”
The interface appears designed to give users a view of both directions of data sharing:
- Incoming data: Information coming from another institution, displayed with an institution name and a partially obscured account identifier.
- Outgoing data: Information shared with another institution, likewise tied to an institution and account.
- Consent details: A grant date, sharing period, and status. The strings include “Active,” “Expired,” “Pending,” “Revoked,” and “Temporarily not available.”
That combination could help answer who is involved, which account is associated with a permission, when consent was granted, how long it applies, and its current state. The strings do not establish exactly how each screen will work in a released app.
#1 Best Overall
- POWERFUL SECURITY KEY: The Security Key C NFC is the essential physical passkey for protecting your digital life from phishing attacks. It ensures only you can access your accounts.
- WORKS WITH 1000+ ACCOUNTS: Compatible with Google, Microsoft, and Apple. A single Security Key C NFC secures 100 of your favorite accounts, including email, password managers, and more.
- FAST & CONVENIENT LOGIN: Plug in your Security Key C NFC via USB-C and tap it, or tap it against your phone (NFC) to authenticate. No batteries, no internet connection, and no extra fees required.
- TRUSTED PASSKEY TECHNOLOGY: Uses the latest passkey standards (FIDO2/WebAuthn & FIDO U2F) but does not support One-Time Passwords. For complex needs, check out the YubiKey 5 Series.
- BUILT TO LAST: Made from tough, waterproof, and crush-resistant materials. Manufactured in Sweden and programmed in the USA with the highest security standards.
What information could be shared
The preview separates permissions into categories rather than describing access as a single blanket approval. Financial categories include balance access, payments, and transaction limit amount. A separate personal-identity section lists:
- CPF, full legal name, and full address
- Date of birth, email address, phone number, and nationality
- Marital status and identification documents
- Passport information and parents’ names
A proposed confirmation step says “Confirm data sharing with %1$s” and asks the user to review details, including the receiving institution and stated purpose. Its available actions are “Not now” and “Share.” The strings suggest the flow could make the requested data and purpose visible before consent is given.

Could you revoke access from Google Wallet?
The code includes “Revoke sharing” and “Cancel access to balance and limit.” Those labels indicate that the planned interface may allow users to withdraw continuing access in Google Wallet, rather than only view a record of linked institutions. A separate payment-purpose string says access can be used “To make Pix payments using your bank account.”
These are evidence of proposed controls, not confirmation that revocation is already possible in Wallet. The teardown does not specify what happens to data an institution has already received, or whether withdrawing consent would cancel any separate service or payment arrangement with that institution.

Is Google Wallet’s Open Finance dashboard available now?
No. The detailed permissions interface described here was not available to users at the time of the October 2, 2026 teardown. Google Wallet already has broader Open Finance support for linking bank accounts and initiating Pix payments, according to the teardown, but that does not mean this proposed consent-management screen has launched.
Because the evidence is unreleased app code, the interface could change, remain behind a server-side flag, or never reach users. The code does not establish a launch date, a final list of participating banks, or availability outside Brazil.

Why the preview points to Brazil
The strings mention Brazilian residency and CPF, Brazil’s individual taxpayer identification number. The Pix payment wording is another clear sign that Brazil is the strongest geographic context for this feature preview. These clues do not prove that the dashboard will be limited to Brazil, but they also do not support assuming a global rollout.
