Is Affinity by Canva really free?
Yes. Affinity’s official FAQ says “Yes, Affinity really is free.” It states that Pixel, Vector and Layout studios, including customization and export features, are available without payment. A Canva account is required, and Canva premium is needed for Canva AI features inside Affinity.

- Open a copy of a real project, not the only original. Check text, masks, adjustment layers, linked assets and fonts.
- Rebuild one representative edit using Pixel, Vector and Layout tools as appropriate.
- Export to the file types your clients or print service accepts, then reopen the exported file to confirm that dimensions, transparency and color appearance survived.
- Only after that test should you move a larger archive or make Affinity your default editor.

Can I edit PSD files without Photoshop?
