If Fluxguard email alerts seem to be missing, first check the affected user’s notification frequency and site-category settings. Fluxguard’s documented default is a daily summary, not an immediate email. Then confirm the monitored page is enabled, its initial crawl completed, and a detected change meets the selected detection strategy.
1. Check when the alert is supposed to arrive
Fluxguard’s FAQ says email notifications are sent as a daily summary by default; users can change the frequency to immediate or another interval. If you expect an email as soon as a change occurs but the account is set to a digest, the timing may explain the apparent delay. Review the frequency in Account Settings and set it to the cadence you need. Fluxguard FAQ
2. Check the affected user’s notification preferences
Notification preferences are user-specific, so check the settings for the person who is not receiving the email rather than assuming another account user’s configuration applies. Confirm both the email frequency and any selected site categories: category selection can limit which sites appear in that user’s reports. Fluxguard FAQ
- Verify that the affected user has the intended alert frequency.
- Check whether site-category filtering is enabled and includes the category for the monitored site.
3. Confirm the page is being monitored
Open Fluxguard and verify that the expected site or URL is configured for monitoring. Fluxguard’s setup guidance says to add the site or URL, allow the initial crawl to complete, and enable monitoring for additional discovered pages when needed. - Find the monitored site or URL in the account.
- Confirm its initial crawl completed.
- Check that monitoring is enabled for the specific page; enable any additional discovered pages that should be monitored.
- Review the session’s crawl settings if the page’s monitoring behavior is not as expected.
4. Check whether Fluxguard recorded a change
An email report depends on Fluxguard recording a new version according to the monitor’s selected primary detection strategy. The tutorial explains that this strategy controls when a new version is recorded. If the observed page difference does not meet the configured trigger, an alert may not yet have been generated. 5. Check the mailbox using general email troubleshooting
Fluxguard’s public materials reviewed here describe account preferences and monitoring behavior, but do not document provider-side bounce diagnostics or a specific inbox-provider remediation process. As general mailbox checks, look in spam or junk folders and review organization-level quarantine, forwarding, or mail-rule settings that could move or block an expected message. These are general checks, not confirmed Fluxguard-specific fixes. If you still cannot locate the alert, ask Fluxguard support whether they can help investigate delivery for the affected account.

6. Consider another notification route
Fluxguard materials list Slack, SMS, webhooks, and API among its other reporting or notification channels. Product updates also describe alarms and category-refined Slack notifications. The available options may depend on current account configuration, so verify availability in your Fluxguard account rather than assuming a channel is enabled. 7. Contact Fluxguard support with useful details
If the user’s preferences, monitored-page status, crawl, and detection expectations all look correct, contact Fluxguard through its official support route. Its FAQ describes automated chatbot help and account-manager support for account-related questions. Include details that help identify the event:

- The site or exact URL that should have generated the alert.
- The configured notification cadence and relevant category selection.
- When the change was detected or expected, including an approximate time and time zone.
- Whether the page’s initial crawl completed and monitoring is enabled.
