The FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE Original Soundtrack is now available to buy digitally through Steam and reported Apple Music/iTunes channels. The 120-track album combines 33 tracks created for FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE with music from FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS. Steam lists the downloadable edition at $22.98 in the United States, while a four-CD edition is documented for Japan and as an imported product in Square Enix’s North American store. Streaming was not available when the release was reported.
Where can you buy the Final Fantasy Resonance soundtrack?
You can purchase the digital soundtrack on Steam, and the release report also points to Apple Music/iTunes purchase channels. Steam gives the digital listing a release date of 27 October 2026 and a US price of $22.98. Availability and pricing on Apple’s storefront can vary by country, so check the store attached to your Apple account before buying.

Steam edition
Steam describes the release as the official FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE original soundtrack and lists it as downloadable content. The store page uses the concept line, “What if FINAL FANTASY had continued to push the limits of pixel art?” and identifies the album as a 120-track release.

Apple Music/iTunes purchase
The release coverage identifies Apple Music/iTunes as another digital purchase route. The available report does not establish a single worldwide Apple price, so the amount shown in your regional storefront is the one that applies to your purchase.

How many songs are on the album?
The soundtrack contains 120 tracks. Square Enix’s descriptions say that 33 of those tracks are newly added for FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE, with the remainder drawn from music associated with FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS.
That makes this both a new-game soundtrack and a broader compilation: buyers get the newly commissioned Resonance material alongside the earlier Brave Exvius catalog. The digital and physical product descriptions identify the same 120-track scope.

Is there a physical CD edition?
Yes. Square Enix Music lists a four-CD package for Japan under catalog number SQEX-11240-3. Japan’s catalog price is ¥4,620 including tax, with the catalog date listed as 28 October 2026.

North American import listing
The Square Enix North America Store lists the imported four-CD set at $36.99 and gives an approximate November 2026 release date. “Approximate” matters here: the North American date is not the same as Japan’s catalog date and can change before fulfillment.

Can you stream the Final Fantasy Resonance OST?
Not according to the release report available at launch. It says the soundtrack was not on streaming services at publication time, so the confirmed options are purchasing the digital album or buying the CD. Do not assume that an Apple Music purchase listing means the album is included in an Apple Music subscription; the report describes a purchase channel, not subscription streaming access.
Which edition should you choose?
- Choose Steam if you want the lowest stated US price and a downloadable soundtrack tied to the Steam release.
- Choose Apple Music/iTunes if your music purchases are managed through Apple’s storefront and that regional listing is available to you.
- Choose the four-CD set if you collect physical Final Fantasy music, want the cataloged Japanese package, or prefer discs over downloads.
- Check region and timing carefully before ordering the North American import because its November date is approximate and its price is higher than the US Steam listing.
The soundtrack is a Square Enix release, not a repair, cleanup or performance utility, so software marketed for PC maintenance is unrelated to this purchase.

What should buyers verify before ordering?
- Confirm that the store page names FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE Original Soundtrack rather than a similarly titled game or album.
- Check your currency, tax treatment and territory-specific delivery information.
- For the CD, verify that the listing is the four-disc product and, where relevant, the SQEX-11240-3 catalog item.
- For digital purchases, review the platform’s download and library rules before completing checkout.
- If you require streaming access, wait for an explicit official streaming announcement; the launch report did not confirm one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does catalog number SQEX-11240-3 identify the soundtrack itself?
Yes. It is the catalog identifier Square Enix Music assigns to the four-CD physical release, which helps distinguish the boxed set from digital listings and other Final Fantasy albums.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesWill the soundtrack eventually appear on subscription streaming services?
That remains unconfirmed. The launch coverage reported no streaming availability and gave no timetable for a later subscription release, so treat any future appearance as a new announcement rather than an existing feature.

Why is the North American CD date described as approximate?
The North American store provides an estimated November 2026 window for an imported product, while Japan has a catalog date of 28 October 2026. Import inventory and shipping schedules can therefore produce a different delivery date by territory.
Is the Apple listing the same album as the Steam soundtrack?
The release information describes the digital album as the same 120-track soundtrack, including the 33 new Resonance tracks. Regional storefront pages can still differ in price, wording or purchase rights.
