What does the demo include?
The Store estimates 45 to 60 minutes of play, covering a prologue, tutorial, and the first steps into the game. The sample follows the retrieval of the lost dragon-god Elta, introduces combat against corrupted enemies, and takes players through Lerna before a confrontation with Kan Loa’s Chosen. The listing describes Lerna as a glacial setting with ancient ruins, industrial remnants, and hidden secrets.
The developer calls the game an action-platformer with a “brawlervania” structure: combat and exploration through interconnected spaces. Its announced ingredients include three martial-arts stances, skill development, magic attacks powered by energy, and movement options such as double jumps, dashes, wall runs, and grapples. Elta, a dragon-god companion, offers abilities for combat and reaching otherwise inaccessible areas. These are developer descriptions of the game’s design; the short demo is only a sample of it.

What do the graphics claims establish?
The available descriptions support calling the art direction painterly, with science-fantasy environments and broad vistas. They do not establish resolution, frame rate, graphics modes, or performance. Nor do they provide a measured comparison with other PS5 games. “Coolest” is therefore best read as one writer’s reaction to the style, not a technical verdict.
Afterburner Studios co-founder and game director Ian Cofino also highlighted the controller’s tactile feedback: “By using the haptics of the DualSense controller, landing punches and hitting platforms has a real tactile weight, resulting in a more immersive experience for PlayStation players.” The statement describes the developer’s intended experience; the Store does not say a special controller is required.

Does demo progress carry into the full game?
No. The PlayStation Store listing warns that demo save data will not transfer to the full game at release. Treat the demo as a standalone preview rather than the start of a save you can continue later. The listing also notes that adjustments were made to the demo for its experience.

Afterburner Studios announced October 1, 2026 that the full game is scheduled to launch February 2, 2027. A release date can change. On the US PlayStation Store when accessed October 4, 2026, the full game was listed for preorder at $29.99; that is a dated US storefront price, not a guaranteed current price in every region.
