Short answer: Dual Fusion is a digital Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion launched on October 29, 2026 (October 28 at 6:00 p.m. PDT), with two ordinary C1 boosters: Mega Mewtwo X and Pikachu. The catalog contains 217 listed prints, but a rarity count is not a pull probability. A percentage shown for a fourth or fifth card is a slot rate, not automatically your chance per complete pack. The two boosters also have different card pools, so identify the exact print number and read that booster’s live Offering Rates screen before estimating your odds. The official preview confirms this is an in-app expansion rather than a physical booster release: Pokémon Games Press.
Keep three measurements separate: catalog rarity (how many prints carry a symbol), per-slot probability (the chance in one eligible card position), and whole-pack probability (the chance the card appears anywhere in a pack). Confusing those figures is the source of most Dual Fusion odds errors.
How many Dual Fusion cards are in each rarity group?
The dated C1 catalog lists 217 distinct prints: 131 main-numbered cards and 86 prints beyond the main numbering. Those totals include alternate artwork and finishes, not 217 different battle effects. Limitless lists 217 cards, while the C1 catalog provides the detailed grouping: Limitless TCG C1 list and Pokemontcgpocket.app C1 catalog.

Serebii’s set header says “170 normal, 47 secret,” but its own numbering runs to 217/131. The 131-plus-86 breakdown matches the numbering and the Limitless total, so it is the safer way to describe the catalog rather than repeating the contradictory header: Serebii Dual Fusion index.

Diamonds, stars, shiny symbols and crowns are separate groups. The number of entries in a group does not tell you that group’s chance, because the game can assign different weights to card slots, rarity branches and individual prints.
What is the difference between a slot rate and a whole-pack rate?
A slot rate answers “What is the chance this print occupies this particular card position?” A whole-pack rate answers “What is the chance I see at least one copy anywhere in this pack?” They are different calculations.
For example, Serebii lists ordinary Mega Mewtwo X ex C1-056 at 0.2778% in slot four and 1.1112% in slot five of the Mega Mewtwo X booster. Its Pikachu-booster listing gives ordinary Mega Greninja ex C1-042 the same 0.2778% slot-four and 1.1112% slot-five figures. These are reproduced slot data, not an independently verified official C1 whole-pack rate: Serebii Mega Mewtwo X rates.
If those two slots were independently drawn within one ordinary-pack branch, the chance of at least one copy from those slots would be:
1 − (1 − 0.002778) × (1 − 0.011112) ≈ 1.3859%

That 1.3859% is only an illustrative conditional calculation. A complete pack can have a rare-pack branch, bonus route or other eligibility rules, so it must not be published as the confirmed overall C1 rate. For a card whose verified whole-pack probability is p, the chance of at least one copy after n independent packs is 1 − (1 − p)^n. Do not substitute a fourth-slot percentage for p.
Which ordinary booster contains the card I want?
Choose by exact print number and booster eligibility, not by the Pokémon on the wrapper. Mega Mewtwo X and Pikachu have different C1 pools.

Why artwork can change the answer
A full-art or immersive version is a separate collection target even when it depicts the same Pokémon. The reviewed catalog currently assigns no ordinary booster to Sweet Honey C1-152, Pikachu ex C1-183 or Mega Mewtwo X ex C1-185. That does not prove those prints are unobtainable; it means their current acquisition route needs to be checked in the app instead of inferred from the ordinary pack list.
The three crown prints—Fuecoco ex C1-215, Pawmot C1-216 and Giratina ex C1-217—are listed in both ordinary pools. Those crown targets therefore do not, by themselves, determine whether you should open Mega Mewtwo X or Pikachu.

How do I check the current Dual Fusion pull rates?
The game’s live Offering Rates screen is the authority for the booster and date you are opening. Use it whenever you need a definitive figure.

- Open Pokémon TCG Pocket and go to the Dual Fusion pack-opening screen.
- Select the exact ordinary booster: Mega Mewtwo X or Pikachu.
- Open the pack information or details control, then choose Offering Rates.
- Find the exact card number and print, not only the Pokémon name or symbol.
- Record whether the percentage is attached to slot four, slot five, another slot, a rare-pack branch or a bonus route.
- Use a whole-pack calculation only after the screen explains every route that can contain the print.
If the screen gives separate slot percentages, preserve those labels when you record them. A statement such as “0.2778% per pack” is inaccurate when the source actually says “0.2778% in slot four.”
Are Dual Fusion “god packs” or rare packs confirmed?
No C1-specific rare-pack percentage was verified in the available official information. An odds compilation checked October 14, 2026 says earlier sets used 0.05%, or 1 in 2,000, for rare packs, but its visible table does not include C1: PokéDaily pack-odds article. Treat that as historical cross-set context, not a Dual Fusion guarantee.
Do not assume an older pity rule, a sixth-card rate or a generic rarity table applies to C1. If the live Offering Rates screen shows a rare-pack branch, include that branch in the whole-pack calculation; if it does not, do not invent one.
Is the First Partners guaranteed star part of a normal C1 booster?
No. Special Pack: First Partners is a separate product, announced for October 31 through December 26, 2026, opened with special stamina that recovers weekly and guaranteed to contain one ★ card per special pack. On October 30, the announced start date was still the following day. That guarantee does not apply to ordinary Mega Mewtwo X or Pikachu C1 boosters.

The publisher also describes Pika Pika! Pikachu Packs and an event-only immersive Pikachu ex from anniversary missions. Those announcements do not establish the source of a particular C1 Pikachu illustration or guarantee a star in a regular booster: official expansion announcement.
What does Dual Fusion cost to chase responsibly?
The app is free to start and offers optional in-app purchases. Because alternate artwork can be a separate, low-probability target, set an opening budget before chasing a cosmetic variant. A collection tracker can help you mark missing C1 print numbers, while a card-specific calculator can apply the correct whole-pack probability once the app supplies it; neither tool changes the game’s odds.

- Exact print: write the C1 number and artwork variant.
- Booster eligibility: verify Mega Mewtwo X, Pikachu, both, or neither ordinary pool.
- Slot rate: retain the slot number and percentage exactly as displayed.
- Whole-pack rate: calculate only after all eligible branches are known.
- Supporting cards: decide whether a pool also advances the evolution or Trainer cards you need.
- Shared status: remember that Eviolite and the three crown prints do not select one ordinary booster.
- Availability: check the card’s current acquisition details when the catalog assigns no ordinary booster.
This approach prevents the common mistake of choosing a pack because its wrapper shows a related Pokémon while the exact print is in the other pool or in a separate event route.

What is established—and what is still unknown?
Established information includes the October 29, 2026 C1 launch, the two ordinary boosters, the 217-print catalog, the 131-plus-86 numbering breakdown, the named pool examples and the published slot figures for C1-056 and C1-042. The exact aggregate probability for each C1 rarity and the complete whole-pack chance for every named card require the live in-app Offering Rates screen.
Until those screens are checked, publish slot rates with their slot labels and identify any arithmetic as conditional. That is more accurate than converting a catalog count or an older set’s rare-pack statistic into a false Dual Fusion percentage.

Does a higher rarity symbol always mean a lower chance in Dual Fusion?
Not necessarily. The symbol identifies a catalog group, while the game can weight individual card slots and branches differently. Compare the exact print’s Offering Rates entry rather than ranking odds from the symbol alone.

Sometimes, but the print number matters. The three crown entries are listed in both ordinary pools, while many ordinary ex cards and their support lines are pool-specific.
Why is my card missing from both pack lists?
It may be an alternate, full-art or immersive print with a separate route. Sweet Honey C1-152, Pikachu ex C1-183 and Mega Mewtwo X ex C1-185 are examples whose current ordinary-booster assignment was not established; inspect the in-app acquisition details.
Should I use physical Pokémon card odds to estimate Pocket pulls?
No. Pocket is a digital game with its own pack rules and slot structure. Physical TCG products do not establish C1’s rates.
When should I recalculate my expected number of packs?
Recalculate whenever the app changes the Offering Rates screen, adds an event route or identifies a different print. A new slot percentage changes the whole-pack and multi-pack math.
