It includes a gaming lounge chair, not a YXSTABY desk. IKEA’s collection listings also show a thumbstick-shaped stool and other gaming-room furniture and accessories. A desk shown in a staged room is not, by itself, part of the YXSTABY collection.
What seating does YXSTABY include?
IKEA describes YXSTABY as a nine-piece gaming collection developed with Xbox. Its two seating pieces are different products:
| Product | What it is | What IKEA describes |
|---|---|---|
| Gaming lounge chair | A lounge-style seat for gaming | IKEA’s design story describes it as repositionable and says it has a pocket for a controller. IKEA’s US product page calls it “YXSTABY gaming lounge chair, Vissle beige.” |
| Thumbstick stool | A separate stool, not a desk chair | IKEA designer David Wahl says it tilts like a thumbstick. IKEA’s description discusses its seating curve and stability, but does not establish ergonomic performance. |

Does the collection include a desk?
No YXSTABY desk appears in the official collection listings reviewed. IKEA’s design story and collection page identify the lounge chair, stool, TV stand on castors, side table, monitor stand, laptop support with storage, controller display box, cushion, and platter. None is identified as a YXSTABY desk.

What else is in the collection?
Beyond the two seating pieces, the nine products include furniture and accessories for a gaming setup: a TV stand on castors, side table, monitor stand, laptop support with storage, controller display box, cushion, and platter. IKEA developed the collection with Xbox; the collaboration is about furnishing a gaming space, not a collection of desk-and-chair workstation pieces.
