If Game Pass appears as a T-Mobile T-Mix Pick on your account, manage the benefit from T-Mobile’s own Pick or benefit-management area—not by assuming that cancelling a Microsoft subscription will remove the carrier benefit. T-Mobile says Picks can be changed up to four times a year. Its October 26, 2026 announcement names Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Premium as options for eligible customers beginning in November 2026, but it does not give an exact launch day or publish a button-by-button cancellation procedure. Is the T-Mix Game Pass benefit available yet?
As of October 30, 2026, T-Mobile has announced Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Premium as T-Mix Pick choices for eligible customers beginning in November 2026. The announcement does not establish which day in November the choices go live, so an account may not show Game Pass yet even when the customer is otherwise eligible.

How do I cancel or change Game Pass on T-Mix?

- Sign in to the T-Mobile account that receives the T-Mix benefit. Use the account associated with the eligible line or plan; a different login may not show the relevant Pick.
- Open the area that lists your T-Mix Picks or benefits. Look for the currently selected benefit and any account-specific management option. T-Mobile has not published a universal label or path that can be quoted safely.
- Record what the account currently shows. Note the selected Pick, the alternatives presented, and any displayed information about how many changes remain. T-Mobile’s public announcement says customers can change Picks up to four times a year, but it does not reveal an individual account’s remaining allowance.
- Decide whether you are replacing Game Pass or asking to remove it. Selecting another available Pick is a different request from ending the Game Pass Pick without replacement. The announcement does not confirm that removal without a replacement is supported.
- Ask T-Mobile to confirm the effective date before submitting the change. The published material does not state whether a change is immediate, starts on a future date, or preserves access through a billing period.
- Submit only after the displayed terms match what you want. If the account does not explain the result, stop and contact T-Mobile support rather than guessing which control cancels the benefit.
- Save the confirmation. Keep the confirmation number, email, screenshot or support-chat transcript, along with the date and the Pick that was requested. This gives support a precise record if the benefit remains visible or access changes unexpectedly.
This process avoids inventing a particular “Cancel Game Pass” button. T-Mobile’s announcement does not verify one, and the labels can vary by account, channel or future software update.
Can I switch Game Pass to another T-Mix Pick?
Yes, a switch may be possible when another Pick is displayed as available on your account. T-Mobile says Picks can be changed up to four times a year, but that is a maximum allowance, not a statement of how many changes remain for you or a guarantee that every account can change at any moment.
Compare the options your account actually shows
- Current availability: A Pick listed for another customer, in an older announcement or on a different plan is not proof that it is available to you.
- Remaining changes: Check the account or ask support how many Pick changes remain in the relevant year. The public announcement does not calculate this for individual customers.
- Effective date: Ask when the replacement begins and whether the existing Game Pass access ends immediately or on another date.
- Benefit description: For Ultimate and Premium, rely on the description shown in your T-Mobile account. The announcement does not provide a T-Mix-specific feature or price comparison that can be applied to every customer.
What if the replacement is not listed?
If the Pick you want is absent, do not substitute a general Game Pass offer or a benefit shown on another website. Ask T-Mobile whether your plan, line, region or launch status explains the difference. A support representative can also confirm whether your account has used its annual change allowance.

That option is not established by T-Mobile’s researched announcement. It confirms that Picks can be changed, but it does not say that a customer can leave the Pick empty or gives instructions for a no-replacement cancellation.
When you contact T-Mobile, ask this exact question: “Can this Game Pass Pick be removed without selecting another Pick, and what date would the removal take effect?” Do not choose a replacement merely to force the interface forward unless you actually want that replacement.
What happens if I cancel Game Pass through Microsoft?
A Microsoft-account subscription and a Game Pass Pick supplied through T-Mobile should be treated as separate administrative objects unless T-Mobile confirms otherwise. If you pay Microsoft separately
Check your Microsoft account’s subscription list for a separately billed Game Pass plan. If one exists, review its renewal and cancellation status independently so that you do not continue paying for a subscription you no longer want. Keep the Microsoft confirmation separately from the T-Mobile Pick record.

If Game Pass came only from T-Mobile
Start with T-Mobile’s Pick-management options. A Microsoft account may still be used to access the service, but that login relationship does not prove that Microsoft controls the carrier benefit. Ask T-Mobile which account owns the entitlement and where a change must be made.
If both accounts show Game Pass
Do not assume that one cancellation will stop both records. Ask each provider what subscription or entitlement it sees, whether a recurring charge exists, and which date its change will take effect.

No cash refund should be assumed. T-Mobile states that Picks have no cash value and cannot be traded, gifted or redeemed for cash. A Pick change is therefore an entitlement decision, not a cash-out request.

The announcement does not provide a refund amount, cancellation-fee figure or rule for prorating a billing period. Do not repeat the change several times while waiting. T-Mobile limits Pick changes to up to four per year, and repeated submissions could consume an allowance if the account treats each request as a change.

- Date and time of the request, including your time zone.

What is the safest way to finish the change?

That automatic-upgrade behavior is not established. Compare the entitlement shown in your T-Mobile account with the subscriptions listed in your Microsoft account, and ask both providers before changing either one.
Why does my Microsoft account show no subscription even though T-Mobile shows Game Pass?
A carrier-provided entitlement may not appear as a separately billed Microsoft subscription. Ask T-Mobile which account owns the benefit and use the T-Mobile Pick record as the reference for carrier-side changes.
