Yes, but the fully hands-free connection is not generally available. Procore has announced a partnership for Meta AI glasses that supports first-person capture and hands-free access to Procore information, yet the glasses integration is currently in closed beta. Until Procore enables your account, the dependable route is to capture media on the glasses, import it into the paired phone through the Meta AI app, and then upload it to the appropriate Procore project or Photos location.
Once a file is in Procore, access is controlled by the project’s Photos permissions and the photo’s public or private setting. Read Only users can see public photos; private photos require Admin permission or a granular View Private Photos permission for an otherwise Read Only or Standard user.
What is available between Meta AI glasses and Procore right now?
Procore’s October 21, 2026 announcement describes two related availability levels. Procore AI Go is in open beta for North American customers whose subscriptions include Digital Coworker Starter, Pro, or Enterprise. The separate integration with Meta AI glasses is in closed beta, so having an eligible AI Go package does not by itself provide glasses access.
The announcement describes first-person photo capture and hands-free access to Procore information. It does not publish a generally available, one-click transfer from the glasses into a Procore project, nor does it provide a public enrollment procedure for the glasses beta. Procore may provide customer-specific instructions, but you should treat direct hands-free upload as unavailable unless Procore confirms that your organization has been admitted.

How do I put a Meta AI glasses photo or video into Procore?
The documented path has three systems: the glasses, the paired phone, and the Procore project. Import is a required handoff; media captured on the glasses cannot be viewed or shared from the glasses until it has been imported through the Meta AI mobile app.
- Capture the jobsite media. Take the photo or record the clip with the Meta AI glasses. Follow your company’s safety rules and avoid recording people, screens, plans, or conversations that your project policy treats as restricted.
- Import to the paired phone. Open the Meta AI mobile app and import the capture. The device FAQ states that captures must be imported before they can be viewed or shared. On Android, the FAQ lists MP4 for video capture; on iOS, it lists HEVC.
- Check the file before uploading. Confirm that the import completed, that the file plays on the phone, and that the date, location, and subject are recognizable. If your project requires a naming convention, rename the file before sending it to Procore.
- Open the destination project in Procore. Go to the project’s Photos tool or the album designated by your superintendent, owner, or safety team. Procore documents Photos as the place to capture, upload, store, and share project photos.
- Upload or share the imported file. Use the project’s upload control, select the imported media, and wait for the upload to finish. Do not assume that closing the phone app completed the transfer; verify that the item appears in the intended project location.
- Set visibility deliberately. Choose the project’s public or private photo setting and the correct album or recipient group. If the file contains sensitive information, keep it private until the authorized team has reviewed it.
- Verify access. Have a permitted project member confirm that the item opens and that its visibility matches the intended audience. Record any required observation, issue, or request in the project’s normal documentation workflow.
This workflow is the practical fallback when your organization is not in the glasses beta. It also gives you a controlled process for clips that need review before they become part of the project record.

The announced partnership is intended to make selected Procore information available without reaching for a phone, while allowing first-person capture from the glasses. The public announcement does not define every supported command, whether video uploads are included, or which Procore tools are exposed in the beta.
What the closed beta means for a project team
- Access is selective. Procore has not published a universal sign-up path, complete eligibility checklist, or full regional list for the glasses integration.
- Package eligibility is separate. Digital Coworker Starter, Pro, and Enterprise are named for the North American AI Go open beta, but that statement does not promise glasses access.
- Capabilities may change. A beta feature can have account, device, region, or workflow restrictions that are not visible in the public announcement.
- Do not promise a launch date. The announcement confirms closed-beta status, not a date for general availability.
If a customer asks for hands-free uploading, ask Procore to confirm the organization’s beta status and the exact supported actions before committing to a field rollout.
Who can see footage after it is uploaded to Procore?
Procore’s Photos permissions determine who can open an item after it enters the project. The item’s public or private status changes the required permission level.
| Action or visibility | Required Procore access | What it means in practice |
|---|---|---|
| View a public project photo | Read Only or higher permission on the project’s Photos tool | Read Only, Standard, and Admin users can view public photos when they are project members with the relevant Photos access. |
| View a private photo | Admin permission, or Read Only/Standard plus the View Private Photos granular permission | A normal project membership level is not enough unless the granular permission is also granted. |
| Upload photos | Standard or Admin | Users with Read Only access cannot upload through the Photos permissions listed by Procore. |
| Share with a defined audience | Photos access plus the project’s album and privacy controls | Procore can make photos available to all team members or to selected members, depending on the configured settings. |
These rules apply after the media has been uploaded. A person who can see the glasses or the paired phone is not automatically a Procore viewer, and a Procore project member is not automatically entitled to private photos.
What is the difference between the direct beta and manual upload?
The direct beta is designed for convenience and hands-free interaction; manual upload is the documented, controllable process. Choose based on whether speed or predictable governance matters more for the task.
| Factor | Direct glasses integration | Phone import and Procore upload |
|---|---|---|
| Availability | Closed beta; access must be confirmed by Procore | Available wherever the glasses, Meta AI app, phone, and Procore account work together |
| Capture convenience | First-person capture and intended hands-free interaction | Requires opening the phone app and completing an upload |
| Transfer path | Beta-specific behavior is not fully published | Glasses to Meta AI mobile app, then to the Procore project or Photos location |
| Governance checkpoint | May occur inside the beta workflow; confirm the controls with Procore | Uploader selects the project destination and public/private setting before sharing |
| Planning risk | Eligibility, region, supported actions, and enrollment are not publicly complete | More steps, but the process and permission checkpoints are easier to document |
For inspections, punch walks, and incident documentation, a team can use manual upload as the standard process and pilot the direct integration only with trained, authorized users.

How does privacy work from capture to project access?
Privacy has two boundaries. Meta states that captures remain private on the glasses until the wearer chooses to import or share them. After the file is uploaded, Procore’s project membership, Photos permissions, and album or privacy settings control who can access it.
Before import
The wearer controls whether a capture leaves the glasses. A nearby coworker cannot gain Procore access merely because the glasses recorded a scene.

After import but before upload
The file is available in the paired phone’s Meta AI app for review or sharing. Importing is not the same as adding the file to a Procore project; a separate upload or share action is required.
After Procore upload
The project’s settings become decisive. Use a private photo setting for material such as worker-identifiable footage, confidential drawings, unresolved incidents, or owner-restricted areas. Grant View Private Photos only to roles that need it, and review album membership when staff, subcontractors, or consultants change.
What should an administrator check before enabling a rollout?
Use this checklist to separate confirmed prerequisites from items that still require a Procore answer.
- Confirm that the customer is in North America if relying on the published AI Go open-beta availability.
- Confirm that the account includes Digital Coworker Starter, Pro, or Enterprise before evaluating AI Go features.
- Ask Procore directly whether the organization has been accepted into the Meta AI glasses closed beta.
- Request the supported glasses models, phone operating-system versions, regions, commands, and media types for the beta.
- Define who may upload Photos and who may view private photos.
- Create a naming, album, retention, and incident-escalation policy for first-person media.
- Test one non-sensitive capture from import through final Procore visibility before using the workflow on an active incident or inspection.
The public announcement does not publish the beta enrollment process or a complete account-prerequisite list. Treat those as open verification items rather than filling the gaps with assumptions.

What can go wrong, and how do I fix it?
The capture is not visible in the phone app
Keep the glasses and phone paired, reopen the Meta AI app, and complete the import. Remember that the glasses FAQ requires import before viewing or sharing; a capture that remains only on the glasses cannot be uploaded to Procore.
The video plays on the phone but will not upload
Confirm that the import finished and that the file is stored locally on the phone. Android captures are listed as MP4 and iOS captures as HEVC in the device FAQ. If Procore rejects the file, ask your administrator which media types the project’s Photos configuration accepts rather than converting footage blindly and losing metadata.
The upload control is missing
Check the user’s Photos permission. Procore’s matrix lists Upload Photos for Standard and Admin users; Read Only access does not include that upload action.

A teammate cannot open the item
First check whether the photo is private. Public photos require Read Only or higher Photos access, while private photos require Admin or Read Only/Standard plus View Private Photos. Then verify that the person belongs to the project and, if the item is restricted to an album or selected members, that they are included.
The customer expects hands-free transfer but cannot find it
Check beta status with Procore. AI Go’s open-beta package eligibility and the separate closed-beta glasses integration are not interchangeable, so an eligible package alone does not expose the glasses workflow.
What is the safest operating model for field teams?
Make manual import and upload the documented baseline, with one named owner responsible for destination, visibility, and verification. Use private visibility by default for sensitive captures, then broaden access only after the project lead confirms that the audience needs the material.
For a beta pilot, start with a small group, a non-sensitive project, and a written test script: capture, import, identify the file, upload, set privacy, verify a second user’s access, and remove or correct the item if it was placed in the wrong album. Keep the pilot separate from critical compliance records until Procore confirms retention, audit, and supported-media behavior for the beta.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I share a glasses capture before importing it to my phone?
No. The device FAQ says media captured on the glasses must be imported through the Meta AI mobile app before it can be viewed or shared. Import is therefore the first required handoff in the workflow.
Does Procore AI Go open beta automatically include the glasses feature?
No. The published open-beta eligibility for North American Digital Coworker Starter, Pro, and Enterprise customers applies to AI Go, while the glasses connection is described separately as closed beta. Procore must confirm glasses access for the specific account.
Which video formats does the Meta AI app create?
The Ray-Ban FAQ lists MP4 for Android video capture and HEVC for iOS video capture. Whether a particular Procore project accepts a given file should be confirmed in that account’s Photos workflow.
Are the closed-beta enrollment instructions public?
Not in Procore’s October 21, 2026 announcement. It does not publish a complete enrollment process, supported-account checklist, or full regional list, so customers should request current details directly from Procore.
