To open the Bluehost AI Store dashboard, sign in to the Bluehost Portal, select Websites, find the site on the Sell Online plan, and click Manage Store. From there, Bluehost’s setup checklist walks you through the pages, products, design, business details, taxes, shipping, and payments required before accepting orders. The dashboard then becomes the operating center for products, orders, customers, discounts, fulfillment, sales channels, and store health. A 14-day AI trial lets you explore store creation, but Bluehost says you must upgrade to Sell Online to publish the store and accept orders.
How do I access the Bluehost AI Store dashboard?
Access is controlled from the Bluehost Portal rather than from a separate public URL. The site must be associated with the Sell Online plan before the full store-management workflow is available.
- Sign in to your Bluehost account and open the Websites area.
- Locate the website you want to operate as an online store.
- Confirm that the site is on the Sell Online plan.
- Click Manage Store.
- Enter the AI Store Dashboard and follow the setup checklist shown on the dashboard.
If you are still experimenting during the 14-day AI trial, you can explore store creation. Publishing the store and accepting customer orders requires the Sell Online upgrade, according to Bluehost’s Customer Journey Guide updated September 21, 2026.

Bluehost describes the AI Store as a merchant dashboard built into the Bluehost WordPress administration area. That means store work remains connected to the WordPress site rather than requiring a wholly separate back office.
What should I configure before publishing the store?
Complete the checklist in the order that removes the most launch risk: customer-facing information first, then catalog and design, followed by business, tax, shipping, and payment settings.
1. Create the required information pages
Add pages that answer common customer and legal questions before you send visitors to the store. Bluehost’s checklist names these pages:
- About
- Contact
- Frequently Asked Questions
- Privacy Policy
- Terms and Conditions
- Return and Refund
- Shipping Information
Link the pages in the site navigation or footer so buyers can find them during evaluation and checkout. Write policies that match how you actually handle returns, delivery, customer support, and personal data; a page that promises a service you do not provide creates avoidable disputes.
2. Add and organize products
In Products, create each listing with a precise title, useful description, product images, price, inventory quantity, and category or collection. The dashboard supports simple products as well as virtual, downloadable, and variable products. Use variable products when one listing contains options such as size or color, and make sure each option has the correct price and stock treatment.
Check the customer-facing result rather than assuming the editor saved every field. Confirm that images represent the item accurately, descriptions explain what is included, and inventory is enabled where stock can run out. For a digital product, verify that the listing identifies it as downloadable or virtual so buyers receive the intended fulfillment experience.
3. Customize the storefront
Use the storefront controls to upload your logo and favicon, select colors and fonts, revise homepage content, and arrange navigation. Add promotional sections only when they clarify a current offer or important category; excessive banners can bury the products customers came to find.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteReview the homepage, product page, cart, and checkout at normal browser width and on a phone. Navigation labels should use the same names customers see in your categories, and the logo, colors, and typography should look consistent across those pages.

4. Enter accurate store and business details
In Settings, enter the store name, business address, contact information, currency, and other requested business details. These values support customer trust and are used when orders, tax calculations, shipping rules, receipts, or payment verification depend on them.
Use the currency in which you intend to display prices and collect payment. If your business operates across countries, check how the chosen currency, address, tax obligations, and gateway support interact before publishing; the setup articles do not establish universal regional availability.
5. Review tax configuration
Confirm tax settings before accepting an order. The correct configuration depends on where your business is established, where customers are located, and what you sell, so treat the dashboard fields as a place to apply your tax policy, not as a substitute for professional advice.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Perform a checkout review with a representative customer address and inspect the tax line before launch. If the result is unexpected, stop and correct the configuration rather than manually adjusting individual orders after payment.
6. Configure shipping zones, methods, and rates
Open Shipping and create the zones you serve. For each zone, add the delivery methods and rates that customers can actually receive, then publish a clear estimate in the shipping information page and, where available, in the checkout selection.
Include a practical rule for locations outside your service area. A customer should be able to tell whether delivery is available, how much it costs, and how long it generally takes before placing an order. Bluehost’s checklist requires zones, methods, and rates but does not promise an automatic rate calculation, so verify the behavior of every configured method.
7. Connect and test payments
In Payments, connect a gateway such as Stripe, complete the requested business verification, choose the payment methods you will accept, and run a test checkout. Testing should cover a successful payment, an unsuccessful or declined attempt, the order confirmation, and the way the order appears in Orders.

Do not advertise payment methods until the gateway reports them as enabled and your business details have been verified. Keep a record of which test transaction was used so you can distinguish a configuration issue from a real customer order when reviewing the order list.
How do I use Products, Orders, and Customers after launch?
After publication, the dashboard supports a repeatable order workflow: maintain the catalog, monitor incoming orders, fulfill them, and keep customer records accurate.
Maintain the catalog
Check product listings when prices, availability, or descriptions change. Low-stock alerts on the main dashboard provide an early warning, while categories and collections help customers browse a growing catalog. Expired products should be hidden or clearly marked rather than left available for purchase by mistake.
Process orders
Open Orders to inspect the current status, line items, payment details, customer information, fulfillment status, and internal notes. Use notes for operational context that staff need, but avoid putting sensitive payment credentials or unnecessary personal information into free-text fields.
Move an order through your actual fulfillment process only after confirming payment status and delivery details. Recheck the selected shipping method and the customer address before dispatch, especially when an order contains multiple items or a variable product.
Keep customer profiles useful
The Customers area lets you view, create, and edit profiles. Correct obvious contact or address errors when the customer confirms them, and keep records aligned with your privacy policy. A clean profile makes support and repeat orders easier without turning the dashboard into an unstructured notes database.
Use discounts deliberately
Create discount codes in Discounts, then monitor whether they are active or expired. Define the intended audience, validity period, and product scope before sharing a code; otherwise a promotion can remain available after the campaign ends or apply to products that were never meant to be discounted.

What is AI Insights and how should I use it?
AI Insights is presented as a “Merchant Command Center.” From the Bluehost Portal, select Websites, find the Sell Online site, click Manage Store, and choose AI Insights.
The area has two main views:
- Action Plan: prioritized daily and weekly tasks intended to focus attention on the next useful store improvements.
- Agent Reports: reports and health checks that surface possible inventory, customer-behavior, and catalog issues for review.
Treat an insight as a decision aid, not an automatic business decision. Open the underlying product, order, or setting, verify that the signal reflects current information, and then make the change yourself. For example, an inventory warning may lead you to correct a stock quantity, pause a product, or investigate a supplier delay; the appropriate response depends on your operation.
What does the 14-day AI trial include, and when must I upgrade?
Bluehost describes a 14-day AI trial for exploring store creation. It is useful for drafting the site, testing the dashboard layout, and preparing products and policies, but the trial is not the final publishing entitlement.
To publish the store and accept orders, upgrade to the Sell Online plan. Before upgrading, use the trial period to complete as much of the checklist as possible so you know which pages, products, shipping rules, and payment details remain. Bluehost’s setup material does not state a universal price, regional availability, renewal amount, or affiliate term; verify those details in the live offer for your country before purchasing.
What should I check if a setup step is missing or fails?
Most access problems can be narrowed to the site, plan, or configuration layer. Use this sequence instead of repeatedly clicking the same control.
- Manage Store is not visible: return to Websites, confirm you selected the intended site, and check whether it is on Sell Online rather than only the AI trial.
- A product is not appearing correctly: reopen the product and verify its type, price, image, inventory, category, and publication state, then inspect the storefront view.
- Shipping is unavailable at checkout: confirm that the customer’s location belongs to a configured zone and that the zone has at least one method and rate.
- Payment setup is blocked: review gateway verification and business information in Payments, then repeat a controlled test transaction.
- The dashboard still shows unfinished setup: open each checklist item and verify the underlying setting, not just the presence of a page or draft product.
If the issue concerns a gateway, tax obligation, or region that the setup documentation does not specify, consult the relevant provider or a qualified adviser before accepting live orders.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How should I evaluate Bluehost AI Store against another ecommerce platform?
Compare the complete operating model rather than the presence of an AI label. The useful questions are how quickly you can reach a published store, how much of setup is guided, and whether the platform gives you enough control after launch.
Best Value
- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
| Comparison area | Questions to ask |
|---|---|
| Time to first store | Can you complete pages, catalog, payments, shipping, and a test order within your launch window? |
| Guided automation | Does the platform provide a checklist and prioritized recommendations, and can you review them before changes are made? |
| Catalog and order control | Are the product types, variants, inventory fields, order statuses, and notes sufficient for your workflow? |
| Payments and shipping | Are your gateway, payment methods, destinations, delivery methods, and rates supported in your region? |
| Sales channels | Can you connect the channels your customers use, such as Meta or Google Merchant Center? |
| Analytics and recommendations | Do the reports expose actionable inventory, catalog, and customer-behavior issues? |
| Data ownership | What can you export if you later change platforms, and in what format? |
| Total cost and availability | What is the recurring plan cost, what happens after any trial, and are all features available in your country? |
The Bluehost documentation establishes the dashboard workflow and supported management areas, but it does not publish a complete price list, export specification, or region-by-region feature matrix. Treat those as purchase checks rather than assumptions.
What is the final prelaunch checklist?
Before switching from preparation to live selling, run one pass that follows the customer journey rather than the order of the admin menu.
- Open the published homepage on a phone and desktop.
- Use navigation to reach the About, Contact, FAQ, privacy, terms, return, refund, and shipping pages.
- Open representative simple, variable, virtual, or downloadable products and check their customer-facing information.
- Add an item to the cart, select a valid shipping destination, and confirm the displayed rate and estimate.
- Proceed through checkout with the payment gateway’s test process and verify the resulting order record.
- Check that tax, currency, contact details, and business address appear as intended.
- Review the dashboard for low-stock alerts, incomplete catalog health items, and unfinished setup tasks.
- Confirm that connected sales channels contain the products and information you intend to distribute.
- Document who will monitor orders, answer customer questions, update inventory, and review AI Insights after launch.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Bluehost AI Store a separate ecommerce application from WordPress?
Bluehost describes it as a merchant dashboard built into the Bluehost WordPress administration area. Store management therefore remains tied to the WordPress site and its Bluehost portal access, rather than being presented as an unrelated standalone admin service.
Can I accept real orders during the 14-day AI trial?
The trial is described for exploring store creation. Bluehost says publishing and accepting orders require upgrading to the Sell Online plan, so treat trial work as preparation until that upgrade is active.
Does Bluehost publish the exact AI Store price and regional feature list in its setup guidance?
No. The setup material names the trial and Sell Online requirement but does not provide a complete price, renewal, regional-availability, or affiliate-term schedule. Check the live offer and your country’s payment and shipping support before committing.
Does AI Insights automatically change products or store settings?
The documented functions are prioritized tasks, reports, and health checks. They surface issues for review; you should verify the underlying data and make operational changes yourself.
