Beatrix Demo has a low published hardware bar: its official Steam listing asks for a 64-bit processor and operating system, 4 GB of RAM, generic graphics hardware and 3 GB of free storage. It does not name a required processor or graphics card, and it does not provide a meaningful recommended tier. That means the requirements can tell you whether your PC meets the listed baseline, but they cannot predict a specific frame rate.
The clearest performance guidance comes from the developer’s settings and patch notes: start with VSync enabled, and use the demo’s resolution and window-mode controls if you need to adjust display behavior. The latest developer update found is Demo Patch Notes v0.07.06, dated October 23, 2026.
What are the Beatrix Demo system requirements?
The official demo listing specifies a 64-bit system, 4 GB RAM and 3 GB of available storage. It describes graphics hardware generically, without naming a GPU model, a VRAM amount or a graphics API version. A sound card is listed, but no model or feature level is given.
| Requirement | Official demo listing | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Processor and operating system | 64-bit processor and operating system | The listing does not identify a CPU model or Windows version. |
| Memory | 4 GB RAM | This is the published minimum, not a recommended amount or a guarantee of performance with other programs open. |
| Graphics | Generic graphics hardware | No card, VRAM capacity or API version is specified. |
| Storage | 3 GB available space | Keep at least this much space available for the demo as listed. |
| Sound | Sound card | No specific audio hardware or feature level is named. |
The requirements above are for Beatrix Demo, the free Steam demo from Tambù Digital, not a performance specification for the unreleased full game. The demo focuses on Limbo, the first Circle of Hell. The full-game Steam listing gives a planned Q1 2027 release, but its processor and graphics descriptions are also not specific enough to establish a named hardware target.

Does the listing give recommended requirements?
No substantive recommended tier is provided for the demo. Its recommended section repeats the 64-bit requirement without adding a CPU, GPU, RAM or storage target. The full-game listing likewise does not supply a useful named processor or graphics recommendation. So there is no official basis for treating any particular PC configuration as the “recommended” one.
In particular, 4 GB RAM should not be read as an ideal target. It is the listed minimum; the page does not say how much memory is desirable for background applications, higher resolutions or future versions. It also does not establish that the same requirements will apply to the full release.
Can my PC run Beatrix Demo?
If your PC has a 64-bit processor and operating system, at least 4 GB RAM, compatible graphics hardware and 3 GB of free storage, it meets the requirements the demo listing publishes. That is a baseline check, not a promise that the game will run smoothly on every system that clears it.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute- Confirm the system is 64-bit. Check the operating-system information on your PC and make sure the processor and operating system meet the listing’s 64-bit requirement.
- Check available memory. The published minimum is 4 GB RAM. The listing does not provide a higher target or state how much extra headroom is needed.
- Check storage space. Make sure at least 3 GB is available for the demo. This figure is the listing’s requirement; it is not a measured estimate of download time.
- Consider your graphics hardware and its condition. The listing gives no GPU model or VRAM threshold. If your graphics hardware is old, has driver problems or is already running hot, the published requirements cannot tell you what frame rate to expect.
- Use the current demo build before judging behavior. The latest developer update found is v0.07.06, dated October 23, 2026. Older builds may not reflect the current fixes.
The listing’s playful suggestion that the game might run on “anything” is not a formal compatibility guarantee. It is not a substitute for a named hardware specification or a benchmark.

What settings should I use for Beatrix?
Start with VSync enabled, which the developer says is now the default. If you need to adjust the image or display behavior, use the demo’s resolution and window-mode controls; the settings overhaul added those controls along with VSync.
Begin with VSync on
The developer says VSync is enabled by default after fixing abnormally high GPU usage and temperature. Leaving it on is the sensible starting point. If you change it while troubleshooting, remember that the patch notes document a 60 FPS cap when VSync is off. That is a developer-documented setting behavior, not an independent measurement of the frame rate every PC will achieve.
Adjust resolution and window mode
Resolution and window mode are the main user-facing display adjustments identified for the demo. If performance or display behavior is unsatisfactory, change one control at a time and compare the result. This makes it easier to tell which change helped. The available information does not establish a best resolution for a given graphics card, nor does it specify a performance gain for switching modes.
Do not confuse game speed with display frame rate
Version 0.07.05 renamed the game-speed choices to Slow, Normal and Fast, and made Normal faster than the old default. Those options affect the pace of the game; they do not, by themselves, specify how many frames per second the display renders. If the action feels faster or slower, check game speed separately from VSync and display settings.

Why is Beatrix using so much GPU or making my PC hot?
The developer’s patch notes record that an issue causing abnormally high GPU usage and temperature was fixed. If you still see unusually high usage or heat, treat it as a troubleshooting signal rather than as expected behavior required by the game.
- Check that the demo is up to date. Compare the installed build with the current Steam version. The latest developer update found is v0.07.06, dated October 23, 2026; the recorded GPU-usage and temperature fix appeared in v0.07.04.
- Confirm VSync is enabled. It is the developer’s stated default after the high-usage fix. If it was switched off, restore it and observe whether the behavior changes.
- Try a lower resolution or a different window mode. These controls are available in the demo. Change one at a time so that any difference is easier to identify; no particular reduction in GPU use is guaranteed.
- Look for other causes if the problem continues. Check whether the same unusual usage or temperature occurs outside Beatrix, and whether the graphics driver or other software is reporting a problem. The published Beatrix information does not identify a universal temperature threshold or a specific driver fix.
If the PC becomes uncomfortably hot, shows a temperature warning, or becomes unstable, stop the session and use the computer manufacturer’s guidance for that system. The patch note establishes that an earlier game issue was fixed; it does not prove that every later heat or utilization problem has the same cause.
What FPS should you expect?
There is no official FPS figure to use as a prediction. The developer has not published an FPS table, test methodology, hardware matrix, resolution-specific target, 1% low figure or measured frame-time data. The generic graphics requirement also does not identify a “best GPU.”

The documented 60 FPS cap applies when VSync is disabled, according to the developer’s patch notes. A cap is a ceiling on frame output in that setting, not evidence that a particular PC will sustain 60 FPS. With VSync enabled, the available information still does not state a target frame rate or performance by graphics card.

For a useful comparison between two PCs, check the same practical factors on each: whether the 64-bit requirement is met, whether each has the listed memory and storage, whether the graphics hardware and driver are stable, and whether the demo is running the current build. Compare GPU usage and temperature while using the same resolution, window mode and VSync setting. This can help identify which configuration behaves better, but it cannot turn the official requirements into a published benchmark.
Does Beatrix Demo run on Steam Deck?
Steam Deck compatibility is currently reported as unknown on the full-game Steam listing. That is not a verified compatibility rating for the demo. The available information does not confirm a Deck performance level or provide a Deck-specific settings recommendation, so do not treat the demo’s generic PC requirements as a guarantee of Deck support.

What can and cannot be concluded from the requirements?
The published figures suggest a low minimum hardware bar, but they are too general to predict experience on a specific PC. Use them as a checklist for whether your system meets the stated baseline, then rely on the demo’s controls and current patch for practical troubleshooting.
- Established: 64-bit processor and operating system, 4 GB RAM, generic graphics hardware, 3 GB available storage and a sound card are listed for the demo.
- Not established: a named CPU or GPU, VRAM requirement, graphics API version, recommended tier, FPS by configuration, load-time target or Deck rating.
- Useful settings guidance: VSync is on by default after a documented GPU-use and temperature fix; resolution and window mode are available; VSync-off behavior has a documented 60 FPS cap.
- Important scope: these details describe the free Steam demo, not a confirmed specification for the full game planned for Q1 2027.
