PhoneArena reported on October 3, 2026, that Amazon was offering $200 off the 13-inch iPad Pro M4 with 512GB of storage, describing the reduction as 13%. That report does not confirm the price or stock at checkout today, so verify the exact configuration and live listing before buying. The available sources also do not provide sales figures to substantiate the claim that the model is “selling like hotcakes.”
What the reported iPad Pro M4 discount covers
The offer in Polina Kovalakova’s PhoneArena deal article is specifically for the 13-inch iPad Pro M4 with 512GB of storage. It reports $200 off, or 13%, at Amazon on October 3, 2026. Treat that as a dated deal report rather than confirmation of today’s checkout price, inventory, or eligibility.
Kovalakova writes that Amazon “rarely lets you save more than $200.” That is the writer’s characterization of the deal’s frequency, not a systematic price-history analysis. The report does not establish how many units sold or whether demand is unusually strong.
How the M4 model compares with newer and refurbished options
M4 is a previous-generation iPad Pro
Apple introduced the 11-inch and 13-inch M4 iPad Pro on May 7, 2024, according to its product environmental report. PhoneArena highlights the M4 chip and Tandem OLED display. MacRumors reported that Apple discontinued the M4 iPad Pro when the M5 iPad Pro launched in October 2025, making the reported Amazon offer a previous-generation model deal.

Refurbished M4 prices are historical comparison points
MacRumors reported on April 3, 2026, that Apple’s refurbished store started at $759 for 11-inch M4 iPad Pro models and $1,019 for 13-inch models, with prices varying by configuration. Those are reported starting prices from that date, not current quotes. MacRumors says Apple refurbished devices are tested, repaired as needed, repackaged and cleaned, and carry the same one-year warranty as new devices.
There is no verified current refurbished price or live M5 price in the cited reports, so the figures do not establish which option is cheaper now. For a fair comparison, match screen size and storage, then account for new versus refurbished condition, warranty, seller, and the actual checkout price.
