Where to stream every F1 session live in the U.S.
Apple TV is Formula 1’s exclusive U.S. broadcast home for the 2026 season under a five-year partnership that began this year. Its coverage includes every practice, qualifying session, Sprint session, and Grand Prix, live and on demand. Apple’s partnership announcement describes the U.S. rights arrangement.
For the full season, subscribe to Apple TV. Apple’s F1 guide lists live sessions as well as race replays, highlights, pre-race programming, interviews, and press conferences. See Apple’s Formula 1 guide for current coverage and availability.
What it costs and how the trial works
Apple’s March 5, 2026 season announcement listed Apple TV at $12.99 per month and a seven-day free trial for new subscribers. Apple’s currently surfaced U.S. subscription pages list $14.99 per month after a seven-day trial, so the launch-announcement price should not be treated as the current rate. Apple has also described a limited-time offer of three months free for eligible customers who purchase and activate a new Apple device. The offer is subject to eligibility and availability; check its current terms rather than assuming it applies to your purchase.
Free ways to watch or follow F1
Free practice sessions and selected weekends on Apple TV
Apple says every practice session is available without a subscription, and selected race weekends are free as well. The free race selection can vary, so check the current schedule and Apple F1 page for the session you want. Free access to selected sessions does not mean the whole season is available free.

Selected Tubi altcasts
Tubi carries selected free, creator-hosted live altcasts, beginning with the Miami Grand Prix in 2026. These offer alternate commentary and race insight, not a free version of every standard race broadcast. Check which events are included in the current schedule. Apple’s announcement of the Tubi altcasts describes the arrangement.
Live timing without race video
Apple Sports provides live updates, leaderboards, standings, and Lock Screen Live Activities. It is useful for following timing and results, but it is not a way to watch the race video. Apple’s rights announcement outlines these features.

Devices you can use—no Apple TV box required
The Apple TV app and website are available across Apple devices, supported smart TVs and streaming devices, game consoles, and the web. Apple’s listed options include iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro, Apple TV 4K, Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, Chromecast with Google TV, PlayStation, Xbox, and tv.apple.com. Apple also lists Android among supported options in its F1 guide. Device and app compatibility can vary by model and region, so confirm that the app works on your particular device.
If your existing television, streaming stick, console, phone, or computer supports Apple TV, use it; a dedicated Apple TV 4K device is optional. Buy or use another compatible streaming device only if you need hardware to connect the service to your screen. Apple TV 4K details are available from Apple.

What F1 TV Premium adds for Apple TV subscribers
U.S. Apple TV subscribers can access F1 TV Premium at no added cost by linking their Apple Account as Apple instructs. Premium adds onboard cameras for every driver and additional data, driver-tracker, and podium feeds. Apple’s listed commentary options are English and Spanish, and the Apple TV experience includes both F1 TV and Sky Sports broadcasts. Multiview can show up to four feeds at once. Apple identifies Apple TV 4K, iPad, and Vision Pro as supported devices for Multiview; compatibility requirements apply. If you mainly want the standard broadcast, you can watch that without setting up multiple feeds.

Watching a race later
Apple lists full replays and highlights for races and track events, alongside interviews and press conferences. If you cannot tune in live, check the F1 page in Apple TV for the replay or highlight you want. Availability can depend on the event and current service listing.
