TrendAI says its Vision One integration with Anthropic’s Claude Compliance API now covers Claude Code and Cowork session transcripts from Claude Enterprise. The expansion gives security teams access to session prompts, responses, and tool calls alongside endpoint, identity, cloud, and network signals, according to TrendAI. The integration is available to TrendAI Vision One customers using Claude Enterprise.
What TrendAI added
Announced September 29, 2026, the expansion extends TrendAI’s June 12 integration with the Claude Compliance API. It adds session records for Claude Code and Cowork, bringing coding and knowledge-work agent activity into the integration’s security-review scope. TrendAI describes workflows such as flagging tool calls outside expected boundaries, associating activity with verified users, checking work against required processes, correlating activity with other security events, and retaining records for compliance review. These are vendor-described capabilities; the announcement does not provide independent performance testing.
Rachel Jin, TrendAI’s Chief Platform and Business Officer and Head of TrendAI, said security teams need transparency to validate AI-agent activity against company policy and connect it with existing endpoint, identity, network, and cloud signals.
What the Compliance API records contain
Anthropic describes the Compliance API’s records as consolidated transcripts hosted on its servers and retrieved by session. They can include prompts and responses, web and MCP tool-call content, and skills and artifacts represented in transcript text. Associated metadata includes verified user ID and email, organization ID, session and per-message IDs, and timestamps.

This is more than aggregate usage information: the records provide session content and identifying context. Administrators should account for that level of detail when deciding which teams may access the records and how they fit organizational review and retention practices.
Availability and access requirements
Anthropic’s August 11, 2026 announcement initially described the added surfaces as beta coverage for Claude Enterprise. Its August 26 update says Cowork on desktop, web, and mobile, plus Claude Code on CLI and desktop, became generally available through the Compliance API. That API status is separate from TrendAI’s announcement that its integration is available to Vision One customers using Claude Enterprise. TrendAI’s collector prerequisites say Compliance API access requires Claude Enterprise and identify a TrendAI Vision One API key for forwarding chat content to AI Guard. The announcement does not spell out every configuration step or account permission, so use TrendAI’s product documentation for deployment details.
Check which Claude surfaces are in scope
Anthropic’s August coverage announcement excluded Claude Code on the web, Claude Code accessed through Claude Platform, and sessions running on Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, or Microsoft Foundry. Coverage can change; check Anthropic’s current documentation for the relevant endpoint, surface, and hosting environment before treating a session as covered.

Session transcripts are not live telemetry
The Compliance API should not be described as an event stream. Anthropic distinguishes its retained, per-session transcripts—retrieved from Anthropic on request—from OpenTelemetry and Claude Code monitoring, which send per-event telemetry to a collector run by the customer as activity occurs.

The methods serve different needs and can coexist. Anthropic recommends the Compliance API for retrieving Cowork and Claude Code session content; event telemetry is a distinct path for activity-time monitoring.

What security teams should verify before relying on coverage
- Plan and access: Confirm the organization has Claude Enterprise and the necessary access to the Compliance API.
- Surface and hosting: Verify that the Claude Code or Cowork surface and hosting environment are covered by the current API documentation.
- Integration setup: Follow TrendAI’s collector documentation for the Vision One API key and configuration requirements.
- Operational expectations: Treat transcript retrieval as session-based access, not a substitute for event-by-event telemetry when immediate activity-time collection is required.
- Governance: Decide how access to prompts, responses, tool calls, and user/session metadata will be controlled and used in policy review.
Where this integration sits in the ecosystem
Anthropic’s integrations guide names TrendAI, Harmonic Security, and Okta as examples of providers using the Compliance API for security monitoring, governance, or identity context. SailPoint has separately announced a Claude Compliance API connector for enterprise identity security. Those mentions establish a growing set of integrations, not a like-for-like product comparison or recommendation.
