US buyers can purchase both 8BitDo Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary controllers as of 27 October 2026. The Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox costs $119.99, while the Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad costs $79.99. 8BitDo’s supplied Amazon listings and storefront are carrying the editions, although the company’s official eShop pages displayed “Sold out” during the latest availability check. UK and EU sales are scheduled to begin on 13 November 2026.
What are the two Tomb Raider controllers?
These are licensed 8BitDo collaborations marking 30 years of Tomb Raider. The hardware is based on the regular Ultimate 3 and Pro 3 models; the anniversary editions add Lara Croft artwork, themed colors, matching charging docks and collector-focused packaging rather than a new control system.
Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox — Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Edition
The Xbox-focused model uses a gold shell, dark controls, a gold D-pad and Lara Croft silhouettes. Its matching charging dock continues the Tomb Raider theme. 8BitDo describes the design as bringing Lara’s image together across generations.
Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad — Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Edition
The Pro 3 takes its visual cues from the Lost Valley. Its sandstone-colored body is decorated with vegetation, Atlantean symbols and geometric patterns, with a themed charging dock included.

Are the anniversary controllers functionally different from standard 8BitDo models?
No material functional difference has been reported. Notebookcheck and the product material describe the Tomb Raider editions as functionally equivalent to their standard Ultimate 3 and Pro 3 counterparts. The premium pays for the licensed artwork, themed docks and collector presentation, not a separately tuned performance profile.

What should buyers check before ordering?
- Platform label: confirm that the listing says Ultimate 3 for Xbox or Pro 3, rather than assuming both support the same consoles.
- Regional date: UK and EU orders are scheduled for 13 November 2026, later than the US launch.
- Live stock and price: the official eShop pages showed “Sold out” during the latest check, so verify the retailer’s current inventory and checkout total.
- Included dock: both anniversary editions are described with matching charging docks; check the exact package contents on the listing you are buying.
- Feature expectations: the editions do not add a new Tomb Raider-specific control mode or documented performance advantage over the standard variants.
Why are these editions being released now?
8BitDo frames the collaboration around Tomb Raider’s 30th anniversary, describing it as “Thirty years of exploration. Countless adventures.” The company says the pair is inspired by Lara Croft and the iconic Lost Valley, giving the two existing controller families distinct visual identities for the anniversary.
