The six services documented for website-automation testing are 2Captcha, Anti-Captcha, CapSolver, captcha-solver, AZcaptcha, and iacaptcha. They are hosted APIs that generally accept a CAPTCHA task and return a result; some also document callbacks, balance or queue methods, feedback, SDKs, or browser integrations. There is no independent benchmark in the available evidence that proves one is universally “best,” so the practical choice depends on the challenge type, integration pattern, compliance requirements, and documentation your authorized test environment needs.
Use any solver only on properties you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Confirm the website’s rules, applicable law, and the provider’s current agreement before sending a task. A provider returning a token does not grant permission to bypass another site’s controls.
What are CAPTCHA-solving services and when are they appropriate?
A CAPTCHA-solving service is a remote API that receives a challenge description, has a worker or automated system process it, and returns a response your test harness can submit to the application under test. The common pattern is task submission followed by result retrieval. Depending on the vendor, you may also get webhooks, queue statistics, balance checks, language SDKs, browser extensions, or methods for reporting an invalid result.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
For a website owner or QA team, the legitimate use case is controlled testing: verifying that a signup flow handles a challenge correctly, checking monitoring and accessibility workflows, or exercising CI/CD scenarios on a staging property. Do not use these services to create fake accounts, send spam, commit click fraud, obtain unauthorized access, or defeat a third party’s anti-abuse controls. 2Captcha’s terms, for example, limit use to authorized and legal purposes and list spam, illegal access, and brute forcing as prohibited (2Captcha terms). CapSolver similarly lists abusive and illegal uses in its compliance guidance (CapSolver compliance).

How were these six services selected?
The list follows the current first-party documentation available for six named providers, not a measured performance ranking. The sources provide stronger feature detail for 2Captcha, Anti-Captcha, and CapSolver; the remaining entries have shorter documentation excerpts. Pricing, uptime, speed, solve rate, and reliability are not independently compared here. Recheck every provider’s documentation and terms immediately before implementation because challenge support and commercial conditions can change.
| Service | Documented workflow or tooling | Documented coverage or fit | Evidence limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2Captcha | Task submission and result retrieval; quick-start API clients in several programming languages (API docs, quick start) | Documentation lists a wide range of CAPTCHA and image-recognition challenge types. | Terms and supported types should be checked for your exact test; no independent performance ranking. |
| Anti-Captcha | Task creation, result retrieval, balance and queue statistics, and result-reporting methods (API documentation) | Classic image tasks plus multiple interactive CAPTCHA task types are listed. | Its service agreement describes a limited internal-business license and service disclaimers; it does not establish comparative performance (service agreement). |
| CapSolver | Task submission and retrieval, agent and browser-automation integrations (documentation, getting started) | Documentation covers multiple challenge types and integration approaches. | Price, speed, and uptime statements are vendor claims and need current verification. |
| captcha-solver | API compatible with the anti-captcha-style createTask/getTaskResult pattern; SDK information is listed (API introduction) |
Supported challenge categories are listed in its documentation. | Performance, commercial terms, and affiliate status were not independently verified. |
| AZcaptcha | Support material describes API use for automated workflows (support page) | Use cases include QA automation, monitoring, accessibility testing, CI/CD, data migration, and compliance auditing; several challenge categories are listed. | Timing and credit figures on the support page are vendor-published claims, not cross-provider measurements. |
| iacaptcha | Task submission and retrieval, balance checks, webhooks, browser extensions, and supported task types (documentation) | Potential fit when callback delivery or a browser extension is useful. | The available documentation gives less detail about terms and independent reliability; confirm current availability and fit. |
What does 2Captcha offer for authorized automation?
2Captcha presents itself as a CAPTCHA and image-recognition service. Its API documentation describes submitting a task and retrieving the result, lists many challenge categories, and provides quick-start clients for several programming languages (API documentation; quick start). That combination is useful when a QA stack already has a supported language client and needs a conventional request-and-poll integration.
Where it may fit
- Teams testing more than one challenge family and wanting a broad documented task inventory.
- Developers who prefer an officially documented client rather than writing all HTTP handling themselves.
- Staging workflows where the service’s legal-use terms can be reviewed alongside the application owner’s authorization.
What to verify first
Match the exact challenge shown by your test environment to the current API task type. Confirm authentication, polling limits, error handling, and any language-client version before deployment. The API pages show updates dated in 2026, but support can change, so use the live documentation rather than an old code sample. Read the terms of service with your legal or security reviewer; the ability to obtain a response is not permission to test an unrelated website.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →How does Anti-Captcha differ from a basic submit-and-poll API?
Anti-Captcha documents both classic image tasks and several interactive CAPTCHA task types. In addition to task creation and result retrieval, its API reference includes balance checks, queue statistics, and methods for reporting a result (API documentation). Those operational methods can help a test runner decide whether it has capacity before starting a large authorized suite and can provide a feedback path when a returned answer is invalid.
Operational advantages
- Queue and balance methods expose service state that can be recorded in a CI run.
- Result-reporting methods let your harness distinguish an application failure from a bad challenge answer.
- Coverage includes image and interactive task families, subject to the current task list.
License and service caveats
The provider’s service agreement describes a limited license for internal business purposes and includes service disclaimers (service agreement). Treat that language as a contract requirement, not a performance guarantee. Have the organization that owns the site confirm that the intended test is internal, authorized, and compatible with both the agreement and local law.
When is CapSolver a good integration candidate?
CapSolver’s documentation combines API workflows with agent and browser-automation integrations. Its getting-started guide uses the familiar sequence of creating a task and retrieving its result, while the broader documentation lists multiple challenge types (getting started; documentation).

Choose it when your harness needs
- An API plus an automation-agent or browser-oriented integration documented by the same provider.
- A task model that can be mapped to the challenge presented in your staging flow.
- Centralized documentation for setup and compliance review.
Compliance checks
CapSolver’s compliance page prohibits listed illegal or abusive activities, including spam, advertising or click fraud, and fake account or content creation (compliance guidance). Its pages may publish claims about price, speed, or uptime; treat those as vendor-reported, non-comparative statements and verify them immediately before signing up. Build your own acceptance test instead of assuming a marketing figure applies to your browser, geography, or challenge mix.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →What should I know about captcha-solver’s API compatibility?
captcha-solver describes an API compatible with the anti-captcha-style createTask and getTaskResult pattern, and its introduction lists supported challenge categories and SDK information (API introduction). Compatibility can reduce adapter work when an existing test harness already models that request sequence.
Questions to answer before migration
- Are the task names and request fields truly interchangeable with your current adapter, or only conceptually similar?
- Does the SDK support your language runtime and deployment method?
- What are the current authentication, retention, refund, and acceptable-use terms?
- How are timeouts, unsolvable tasks, and malformed responses reported?
The available material does not independently establish performance, commercial terms, or affiliate status. Keep this option in a proof-of-concept until those details are confirmed directly in the provider’s current documentation and agreement.
What use cases does AZcaptcha document?
AZcaptcha’s support page explicitly lists QA test automation, monitoring, accessibility testing, CI/CD pipelines, data migration, and compliance auditing among its use cases (support). It also lists several challenge categories and publishes timing and credit figures.
How to interpret its figures
Those timing and credit numbers are claims made by AZcaptcha for its own service, not independent measurements across the six providers. If a figure matters to your release schedule, record the date and conditions, then run a small authorized pilot against your own staging workload. Do not generalize a support-page number to every challenge, region, or concurrency level.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesPotential fit
The breadth of named QA and pipeline scenarios makes AZcaptcha worth checking when the CAPTCHA step is one component of a larger monitoring or migration test. Confirm that the exact challenge type, callback behavior, data handling, and terms match your organization’s controls before putting it in CI.

What does iacaptcha add beyond task polling?
iacaptcha’s documentation describes task submission and result retrieval as well as balance checks, webhooks, browser extensions, and supported task types (documentation). A webhook can be useful when a test orchestrator should receive completion events instead of polling continuously; an extension may suit a controlled browser-based test where an API-only adapter is awkward.
Questions for an evaluation
- Can your CI or test runner receive and authenticate the documented webhook?
- Does the browser extension work in the browser version and profile used by your test?
- What retry, timeout, and duplicate-callback behavior is documented?
- Where are current acceptable-use and data-processing terms published?
The available documentation gives less information about terms and independent reliability than the leading comparison candidates. Confirm current availability and legal fit directly before treating iacaptcha as a production dependency.
How do I choose among the six services?
Start with the challenge and control requirements of your own test, not with a claimed speed or price. A short capability matrix prevents an apparently compatible provider from failing at the first real challenge.
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
- Inventory the challenge. Record whether the staging flow presents an image, interactive widget, browser-specific challenge, or another documented type. Use the provider’s current task list to confirm an exact match.
- Define the integration contract. Decide whether your runner can poll for a result or needs a webhook. Note the programming language, browser automation framework, callback endpoint, and secret-management system.
- Check legal and contractual scope. Obtain written authorization from the property owner, review the site’s rules, and read the provider agreement. Internal QA permission does not automatically cover production traffic or third-party domains.
- Set operational limits. Establish a maximum task count, timeout, retry count, budget ceiling, and data-retention rule. Stop the run when a provider reports an unsolvable or invalid task rather than looping indefinitely.
- Run a small acceptance test. Measure completion time, error categories, callback behavior, and token injection success in your own staging environment. Label the result as your test observation, not a universal vendor ranking.
- Document a fallback. Keep a deterministic test mode, mock challenge, or owner-controlled bypass for CI outages. A CAPTCHA vendor should not be the only way to deploy or diagnose your application.
What is the safest API workflow for a QA test?
Use a server-side adapter that isolates provider credentials from the browser and records only the metadata needed to diagnose the run. The exact field names and endpoints vary, but the control flow is consistent.
- Prepare an authorized environment. Point the test at a staging hostname or an explicitly approved production test account. Add an allowlist and a run identifier so accidental traffic can be stopped.
- Load the API key from secret storage. Never place it in client-side JavaScript, a public repository, screenshots, or build logs. Rotate it if it appears in a trace.
- Create the task. Send only the challenge data and site information required by the provider’s current API documentation. Avoid including unrelated customer records or credentials.
- Wait using the documented method. Poll at the provider’s stated interval or receive a signed webhook if supported. Enforce your own deadline and cancel or abandon the run after a bounded number of attempts.
- Validate the response. Check the API status, error object, and required token fields before injecting anything into the browser. Treat malformed, expired, or unsolvable responses as test failures with a distinct reason.
- Submit only to the authorized page. Keep the response inside the test session and never forward it to another domain or account.
- Report and clean up. Use a documented feedback method when available, redact tokens from logs, delete temporary challenge data according to your retention policy, and publish pass/fail metrics without exposing secrets.
A conceptual adapter can be represented as createTask → wait or receive callback → getTaskResult (if polling) → validate → submit to staging → record outcome. Do not copy that notation as a provider endpoint; consult the selected service’s live API reference for authentication, request schema, status values, and retry rules.
How should CAPTCHA solving be handled in CI/CD and browser automation?
Keep production paths deterministic
CI should have a controlled test mode or fixture that does not depend on an external worker queue for every build. Reserve live solver calls for scheduled, narrow regression runs or an environment where the site owner has explicitly approved them.

Separate provider failures from product failures
Emit separate statuses for task creation errors, queue timeouts, invalid answers, browser injection failures, and application rejection. This prevents a provider outage from being misreported as a broken signup flow.
Protect observability data
Log provider request IDs, timestamps, challenge type, and coarse error categories, but redact API keys, challenge images, user data, and returned tokens. Restrict who can view traces because a token or screenshot may be usable during its validity window.
Control concurrency
Use a queue in your test runner, cap parallel tasks, and stop launching new work when balance, queue, or error thresholds are exceeded. This protects both your budget and the site you are testing.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Can these services be compared on price, speed, or accuracy?
Not responsibly from the available evidence. The sources contain vendor documentation and, in AZcaptcha’s case, vendor-published timing or credit claims, but no independent, like-for-like benchmark. Challenge mix, browser, geography, queue load, concurrency, and account terms can materially change results.
If cost or latency is a release criterion, define a test protocol first: use the same authorized staging challenges, fixed concurrency, identical timeout rules, and a documented observation period. Report median and failure categories from your own run, date-stamp the result, and avoid presenting it as a permanent ranking. Recheck provider pricing and terms immediately before purchase because the cited documentation does not establish recurring or comparable prices.
What common failures should I troubleshoot first?
“Unsupported task type”
Confirm that the challenge on the page matches the provider’s current task name and required parameters. A visual resemblance is not enough; interactive and image tasks often use different API objects.

“Task never completes”
Check your polling interval, timeout, queue status, and account balance. If the service documents callbacks, verify that the endpoint is reachable, authenticated, and able to handle duplicate delivery before switching from polling.
“The site rejects the returned response”
Verify that the response was injected into the same authorized browser session and that the page has not reloaded or issued a new challenge. Record the provider result and the site’s rejection separately, then use a documented feedback method when one exists.
“CI started making unexpected requests”
Disable the job, revoke the exposed key, inspect the allowlist and environment variables, and confirm that test URLs cannot resolve to an unrelated production domain. Add a manual approval gate for any run that can contact a live property.

What is the practical verdict?
There is no evidence-based universal winner among these six services. Choose the provider whose documented challenge type, API or callback model, language tooling, operational methods, and contractual terms fit your authorized test environment; then validate it with a small, reproducible staging pilot and maintain a deterministic fallback. Treat all vendor claims about speed, uptime, accuracy, timing, or credits as claims to verify, not as independent facts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use a CAPTCHA-solving API on a site I do not own?
Only with explicit authorization from the site owner and a lawful testing purpose. A provider’s API response does not override a website’s terms, access controls, or applicable law; without permission, use a mock challenge or another approved test method.
Do these services guarantee that every CAPTCHA will be solved?
No guarantee is established here. Challenge variants, queue conditions, browser context, and provider changes can produce unsolvable or rejected tasks, so your harness needs bounded retries and a separate failure state.
Recommended Free Tools
Should API keys be placed in browser automation code?
No. Keep keys in server-side secret storage and call the provider through a restricted adapter. Browser bundles, screenshots, CI logs, and public repositories can expose credentials and require immediate revocation.
What should I measure in a trial run?
Record task-creation errors, completion latency, timeout and unsolvable counts, site-side acceptance, callback or polling reliability, and total cost under a fixed workload. Date-stamp the results and keep challenge mix and concurrency constant so later comparisons remain meaningful.
