Client operations
Walters also oversees order management, advertising operations, and campaign delivery for 526’s advertising partners. That places the systems used to sell, schedule, and deliver campaigns alongside the audience and content infrastructure those campaigns depend on.
Why did 526 Media Group appoint Walters now?
The appointment comes after a major portfolio transition. In August 2026, 526 acquired ARCHITECT, Journal of Light Construction, and other Hanley Wood titles from Zonda. Integrating those properties required coordinated work across websites, data, marketing, audience records, and commercial delivery.
Making Walters the operations chief gives that integration a permanent executive owner. It also reflects 526’s strategy of operating its publications and data services as one platform for professionals in the building-materials supply chain, rather than as isolated titles.

What is Red Book Lumber Data?
Red Book Lumber Data is 526 Media Group’s lumber-market data operation. Within it, Lumber Pricing Intelligence is being positioned as a transaction-price reporting service: contributors provide pricing information that can be organized into intelligence for participants in the lumber and building-materials market.
The planned November appearance at NAWLA Traders Market was intended to introduce the service and identify founding pricing contributors. The announcement does not specify subscription prices, data coverage, contributor compensation, or launch availability, so those details should be confirmed directly with 526 before making a purchasing or participation decision.
