Launch coverage lists 24RU, 36RU and 48RU versions, with cooling modules that take up rack space. The often-cited “up to 124kW” figure describes cooling capacity; it does not establish that a single fully loaded Stack supplies 124kW of IT power.
How Zella Stack ships and assembles
Zella Stack’s main deployment distinction is its modular form. StorageReview and DataCenterDynamics report that it ships as blocks and is assembled on site, which may help when a complete cabinet is difficult to move through a building or into a site with access or floor-loading constraints. DataCenterDynamics reports Zella DC’s claim that deployment can happen in days. These are company and launch-coverage claims, not independently tested shipping or installation results. Zella DC’s standard-courier description is also a reported company claim. The coverage does not identify a carrier, package dimensions, or courier acceptance criteria, so it should not be read as confirmation that any courier will accept every shipment. Buyers should confirm the shipping method, module dimensions and weights, delivery access, and on-site assembly requirements with Zella DC for their location.
Sizes, weights and reported dimensions
StorageReview reports three Stack sizes. DataCenterDynamics provides additional dimensions and operating details for the 48RU model.

The 48RU dimensions and noise figure are reported product details, not independent measurements. DataCenterDynamics says the modules combine hybrid air and liquid cooling. DataCenterDynamics
How much rack space cooling leaves for IT
Cooling equipment occupies rack units, so the nominal cabinet height is not the same as the space available for IT equipment. StorageReview reports these cooling configurations and a resulting range of 9RU to 39RU for IT, depending on the chosen configuration:

Those listed options do not provide a complete model-by-model allocation of IT rack units. The reported 9RU–39RU range is configuration-dependent, so a buyer should request the rack layout for the exact Stack size and cooling arrangement under consideration. StorageReview
What “up to 124kW” means—and does not mean
The 124kW headline refers to cooling capacity as described in launch coverage. It is not evidence that one Stack cabinet can deliver 124kW of IT power, nor does it establish the electrical draw of a fully loaded 48RU unit. The reports do not specify how many IT blocks or which configuration would be required to reach the stated cooling ceiling. StorageReview DataCenterDynamics

Before sizing a deployment around that figure, ask Zella DC for the configuration-specific cooling capacity, electrical input and IT load limits, heat-removal assumptions, and any derating or site conditions. The cited launch coverage does not establish those operating details or provide independent performance testing.
How Stack differs from Zella Pro and Outback
Stack is described as an indoor modular product. Zella Pro is a separate indoor micro data center; Zella DC’s official page describes integrated power, cooling, physical security and monitoring for that product. Outback is the company’s separate outdoor line. Specifications for either product should not be treated as Stack specifications. Zella Pro Outback

StorageReview notes a Zella comparison that describes Stack as about one-quarter the weight of Zella Pro, but the example weights it cites do not support that ratio as a straightforward same-size comparison: 24RU Pro is listed at 160kg versus 24RU Stack at 115kg, while 50RU Pro is 348kg versus 48RU Stack at 185kg. The reporter cautions that modular shipment may make block-level handling a different comparison. - What are the exact dimensions and weights of each shipped module, and what delivery access and floor-loading conditions are required?
- What are the electrical input, fully configured load, and operating requirements for the proposed system?
- What does N+1 cover in the quoted configuration, and what capacity remains if a redundant component is unavailable?
- What are the purchase price, installation scope, and ongoing service terms? The cited launch reports do not establish Stack pricing or a complete lifecycle-cost comparison.
Zella Sense is the vendor’s monitoring and automation layer, according to launch coverage; request the specific monitoring features and included scope for the configuration being quoted. StorageReview
