Is this an Apple MagSafe power bank?
The Xiaomi power bank offers MagSafe-compatible magnetic attachment and wireless charging for supported iPhones, but the available specifications do not establish that it is an Apple-certified MagSafe accessory or that it delivers Apple’s proprietary maximum MagSafe rate.

Xiaomi lists 7.5W magnetic charging for compatible iPhones and explicitly says that the product is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple. The safer description is “magnetic power bank for MagSafe-equipped iPhones,” not “Apple-certified 15W MagSafe power bank.”
For an iPhone owner, the product’s main benefits are magnetic alignment, the built-in stand, and the ability to switch to faster wired charging when necessary. A 7.5W magnetic top-up is convenient, but it is considerably slower than using the integrated USB-C cable when the iPhone and charging setup support a faster wired connection.
Which iPhones are compatible?
Xiaomi states that the magnetic attraction function supports the iPhone 12 series and newer, excluding the iPhone 16e. Compatibility refers to the listed magnetic attachment and charging function; charging performance can still vary by case, alignment, temperature, and phone condition.

For the most secure stand use, remove an unofficial or thick case and align the iPhone directly with the magnetic pad. Xiaomi’s official compatibility guidance warns that case design can affect magnetic performance.
Does it work with Android phones?
Android phones may charge wirelessly if they support a relevant wireless-charging protocol, but magnetic attachment is not guaranteed to be as stable as it is on MagSafe-equipped iPhones.
Xiaomi lists compatible examples from Xiaomi, Redmi, Huawei, Honor, vivo, Oppo, OnePlus, Samsung, and Google. The exact wireless rate depends on the phone’s charging standard. An Android phone may support Qi or another compatible wireless protocol without having a built-in magnetic ring positioned correctly for the power bank.
Android compatibility therefore has two separate questions:
- Can the phone charge wirelessly? The phone must support a compatible wireless-charging protocol.
- Can the phone stay attached magnetically? The phone or its case needs a suitably positioned magnetic ring or magnetic design.
Xiaomi specifically warns that wireless performance may be lower on Android devices than on iPhones because phone design and magnetic alignment differ. If the phone will not stay attached, the integrated USB-C cable is the dependable fallback.

How many devices can it charge at once?
Xiaomi says the power bank can charge up to three devices simultaneously: two wired devices and one wireless device. The multi-device arrangement is useful when several phones, earbuds, or other USB-C accessories need power, but the available output is shared rather than duplicated at the maximum rate for every device.

Wireless charging is disabled by default when a wired device is connected. To enable wired and wireless charging together, press and hold the power button for approximately two seconds. To disable the feature again, hold the button for approximately one second.
When two or more devices are charging, Xiaomi states that the theoretical total output may be up to 15W. The actual power allocation depends on the connected devices and operating conditions, so simultaneous charging is best viewed as a convenience feature rather than a way to obtain 33W on multiple devices.
What do the 10,000mAh and 37Wh ratings really mean?
The “10,000mAh” label describes the nominal battery-equivalent capacity inside the power bank, not the exact amount that will reach a phone after voltage conversion and charging losses. Xiaomi says the unit contains two 5,000mAh cells.

Xiaomi’s official Japanese specification page lists a 5,900mAh rated capacity at 5V/3A and 37Wh rated energy. The 5,900mAh figure is a more useful indication of the rated output under the specified 5V/3A condition, although real phone charging still varies because of conversion efficiency, heat, cable losses, and the phone’s own charging behavior.

Is the Xiaomi power bank suitable for air travel?
The listed 37Wh energy rating is below the commonly referenced 100Wh portable-battery threshold, making the capacity relatively travel-friendly. The rating does not mean every airline will apply identical rules.
Xiaomi describes the product as suitable for air travel while advising users to check the airline’s requirements. In practice, power banks generally belong in carry-on baggage rather than checked luggage, but airline and airport policies can differ. Check the rules for the airline, departure airport, and connecting airports before traveling.
The 10,000mAh capacity is appropriate for emergency top-ups and a day of ordinary phone use. Buyers needing power for several days, multiple tablets, or many high-capacity devices may prefer a 20,000mAh model, accepting additional weight and potentially more restrictive travel handling.
What safety protections does Xiaomi list?
Xiaomi lists the following protections for the power bank:

What should people with implanted medical devices know?

What should you do if the phone will not stay attached?
A phone that will not stay attached usually has a magnetic-alignment, case, or device-compatibility problem rather than a battery-capacity problem.

- Place the phone’s wireless charging coil directly over the center of the power bank’s charging pad.
- Confirm that the phone supports wireless charging.

Why is the phone charging slowly?
