The WPBeginner Spotlight 28 roundup reports that WPVibe reached 40,000 active installs on September 23, 2026, two weeks after reaching 20,000. Its headline says 50,000, but the roundup’s body supports the lower, dated figure. The install count and feature details here are attributed to WPBeginner; the available sources do not independently confirm them through a WPVibe primary announcement.
What WPVibe Fleet Management is described as doing
For administrators responsible for multiple WordPress sites, WPBeginner says Fleet Management lets them ask an AI assistant which updates are pending across their sites and run updates through a single chat. The roundup also says WPVibe checks each site before and after an update to confirm the update completed and that the site still works as expected.

That description makes the feature most relevant to people who manage several WordPress installations and want a consolidated view of updates. The roundup does not provide a supported site limit or independent comparison with other management tools.
WPForms adds an at-a-glance dashboard
WPForms announced a dashboard on September 17, 2026, that brings activity across forms into one WordPress admin screen. Its vendor announcement describes reporting on form entries, payments, form views, visitor locations, and suggested actions. See the WPForms dashboard announcement.

WPBeginner’s roundup adds that the screen includes site-wide counts for forms, entries, payments, views, and spam; a feed of per-form activity and conversion rates; payment totals; top visitor locations; and suggested add-ons or integrations. It says the dashboard is available from the WPForms menu in WordPress admin and is included with all plans, including WPForms Lite. The plan-availability detail is reported by WPBeginner.
For a site owner, the practical benefit is seeing form activity and payment information without checking each form separately. Suggested add-ons and integrations are product recommendations, not independent evidence that any particular extension is necessary.

WordPress 7.1.1 and 7.1.2 address bugs and security issues
Both releases were published in September 2026, and WordPress.org recommends immediate updates. These are software updates for WordPress—not new security devices.

WordPress.org says 7.1.2 addresses a vulnerability that, under conditions involving the server environment and active theme, could allow an unauthenticated attacker to make page-template resolution include a chosen readable local PHP file outside the active theme directories. That could potentially lead to remote code execution. The release description is conditional: it does not establish that every WordPress site or configuration was vulnerable.

The 7.1.1 announcement says its security fixes were being backported where necessary through WordPress 4.7. The 7.1.2 announcement likewise says the fix was backported to branches eligible for security fixes through 4.7. The WordPress release archive lists 7.1.1 on September 17 and 7.1.2 on September 22, 2026.
