Not yet confirmed. Microsoft has connected Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 to a future Windows graphics-feature update and named NVIDIA RTX Spark among devices gaining expanded support for that feature. That is not a confirmation that Call of Duty will run on RTX Spark in 2027—or that its launcher, multiplayer, or anti-cheat will work there.
What Microsoft has—and has not—confirmed
Microsoft’s October 1, 2026 DirectX announcement says a future update to Advanced Shader Delivery will include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The same post says Advanced Shader Delivery will expand to additional hardware, including NVIDIA RTX Spark. Read together, those statements put the game and the device in the same feature roadmap. They do not explicitly confirm the game will run on RTX Spark.
Advanced Shader Delivery concerns shader compilation and delivery. It is a graphics feature, not a certification that a complete game works on a particular PC. Microsoft’s announcement does not confirm a 2027 release date for the game, a native Arm version, or compatibility with the game’s launcher, online multiplayer, or anti-cheat on RTX Spark. Microsoft DirectX Developer Blog, October 1, 2026.
Why the distinction matters on Windows on Arm
RTX Spark is an Arm-based Windows PC platform announced by Microsoft and NVIDIA. Windows on Arm can run x86 software through Prism, Microsoft’s emulation technology; Microsoft says Prism is optimized for RTX Spark PCs. That helps with CPU instruction translation, but a game can also depend on a launcher, drivers, graphics features, and online services that each need to work on the device.

Anti-cheat is a particularly important dependency for online games. Microsoft has described platform-level work with anti-cheat partners including Epic’s Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye. That does not establish support for any specific Call of Duty release or its anti-cheat configuration on RTX Spark. A game that starts successfully is not necessarily one that can access all online modes.
What is known about RTX Spark gaming
In its May 31, 2026 Windows announcement, Microsoft named League of Legends and VALORANT as titles Riot Games had confirmed for the platform. Call of Duty was not among the named game confirmations in that post. Microsoft also discussed Xbox PC app support and broader compatibility work, but neither is a title-specific Call of Duty guarantee. Microsoft Windows Experience Blog, May 31, 2026.

Microsoft’s August 25, 2026 Windows on Arm ecosystem post says its compatibility-data-based catalog contains more than 7,000 verified apps and games. That figure signals a broadening catalog, not that every game is compatible, and it does not verify Call of Duty on RTX Spark. Microsoft Windows Developer Blog, August 25, 2026.
What to check before relying on RTX Spark for Call of Duty
Until Microsoft, NVIDIA, or the game’s publisher provides title-specific confirmation—or a shipping device is independently tested—treat RTX Spark Call of Duty compatibility as unresolved. Check the exact game and PC configuration rather than relying on a general Windows on Arm compatibility claim.

- Game and edition: Confirm the exact Call of Duty release and whether its publisher lists Windows on Arm or RTX Spark support.
- Installation and launch: Verify that the store, launcher, DRM, and game all install and start on the shipping device.
- Online play: Look for explicit confirmation that the title’s anti-cheat works and that multiplayer is allowed; single-player launch success is not enough.
- Graphics and performance: Seek testing on the retail hardware for driver support, shader behavior, stability, and playable performance. No performance results for Call of Duty on RTX Spark are established by the announcements above.
What RTX Spark’s specifications do—and do not—say
NVIDIA describes RTX Spark as delivering up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and up to 128GB of unified memory. Those are vendor-announced platform specifications, not independent gaming benchmarks or evidence of Call of Duty compatibility. They should not be used to infer frame rates or overall game performance. NVIDIA Investor Relations, June 1, 2026.
