If your fireplace video repeats but the audio does not, check that the player is set to repeat the current video—not merely to Autoplay. Autoplay starts another related video; Repeat or Loop replays the video you are watching. If Repeat is on, test another video and device to narrow down whether the issue follows that video or the playback app/device. The symptom alone does not identify a specific cause.
Repeat and Autoplay do different things
Autoplay starts another related video after the current one ends. It does not repeat the current fireplace video. Use the player’s Repeat or Loop control instead. YouTube’s instructions vary by platform: YouTube explains Autoplay separately, while its loop instructions cover repeating a video or playlist.
Check the loop setting for your device
YouTube on a TV or game console
Open the playback controls or Settings and select Repeat until the player shows “Repeat • Currently playing.” That state indicates the current video is selected to repeat, according to YouTube’s instructions for TVs and consoles.
YouTube on Android
Open Settings → Additional settings → Loop video. If you are playing a playlist, its loop control can repeat the playlist; tapping the control again can set it to repeat one video in the playlist. See YouTube’s Android instructions.

YouTube on a computer
Open the video’s player controls and choose Loop. You can also use YouTube’s playlist loop control when playing a playlist. The available controls and labels can differ by platform; consult YouTube’s computer loop instructions for the current steps.
If the sound still does not loop, isolate the problem
First note what the sound is doing: does it stop when the picture resets, continue across the reset, or become silent? Also establish whether the audio comes from the fireplace video itself or from another source. Those details may help narrow the path, but the symptom by itself does not establish a cause.

- Confirm which app you are using. YouTube and YouTube TV are separate apps and services. YouTube TV’s help page cautions that its TV app is different from the YouTube app: Download and control YouTube TV on your TV.
- Verify Repeat or Loop is enabled. Check the platform-specific steps above; Autoplay alone is not enough to repeat the current video.
- Play another video. If unrelated videos have the same audio mismatch, an app/device playback path becomes more plausible. If only the fireplace video behaves this way, the issue may be specific to that video or its audio. This comparison helps isolate the issue but does not prove its cause.
- Try another app on the same device or the same video on another supported device. If the issue appears in multiple apps on one device, the device path is worth investigating. YouTube TV recommends checking other apps on the device and notes that supported-device issues may be manufacturer-related: Troubleshoot YouTube TV streaming issues.
- If it appears app-specific, update the app. If the problem remains, uninstall and reinstall it. YouTube TV lists those steps for its own supported TV app; they are not a guaranteed fix for every YouTube app or device.
What this symptom does—and does not—tell you
The available platform guidance explains how to loop videos and troubleshoot app/device playback, but it does not diagnose a fireplace-specific fault or establish a known YouTube defect that makes the picture loop while the sound does not. Without the platform, device, video, and details of what the audio does at the visual reset, it is not possible to say whether the cause is in the video’s audio or the playback path.
