It also said Saini warned that negligence or incorrect reporting in grievance disposal would not be tolerated and that responsibility should be fixed before strict action is taken.
Hindustan Times also reported complaints from resident welfare associations (RWAs), but the published accounts do not establish that those broader pollution complaints were the same as the specific STP complaint cited by the state.

The state release says Saini directed the suspensions during a review meeting on Gurugram development works at the local PWD Rest House. Hindustan Times reports that the board chairman then issued the separate orders.
What remains unclear
Hindustan Times reports that the orders do not spell out individual allegations against either officer or detail the complaints that led to the action. The state’s stated rationale is about accountability in grievance handling, but that is not the same as a final finding that either named officer committed a particular violation. The available accounts establish the suspension direction and reported order terms, not the outcome of a disciplinary process.
