Change Repeat mode on your TV or game console
- Start the playlist and let a video play.
- Press the down button on your TV remote or game controller to show the playback controls.
- Select Repeat. Select it again if needed until the on-screen state reads Repeat • Playlist.
You can also look for Repeat in Settings while watching. The two labels identify different behaviors: “Repeat • Currently playing” loops the current video, while “Repeat • Playlist” is the setting for repeating the playlist.
If you’re watching on a phone or computer
Android
Open the playlist control box and select Loop. Tapping the control again changes it to repeat just one video, so check that it is set to loop the playlist rather than the current item.
Computer
Open a video that belongs to the playlist, expand the playlist panel, and click the panel’s Loop control. Right-clicking the video player and choosing Loop repeats that video itself, not the playlist.

Repeat and shuffle do different things
Repeat controls whether playback starts over after the playlist’s final video or keeps replaying the current video. Shuffle changes the order in which playlist videos play. Google’s YouTube IFrame Player API describes playlist looping as returning playback to the beginning after the final video, and shuffle as changing playback order; those API descriptions do not establish exactly how every TV app behaves internally.
If Repeat • Playlist is already selected
First confirm that the playlist itself is open and check the displayed Repeat state again. If it reads “Repeat • Playlist” but one video still keeps coming back, the official YouTube Help and IFrame Player API guidance does not identify a definitive cause for that device or playlist. It would be speculation to blame a particular app bug, queue issue, or network problem based on that symptom alone.

The documented remedy is a player setting accessed with the remote or controller. The available guidance does not establish restarting the TV, clearing a cache, changing network equipment, or buying a replacement remote or streaming device as a fix for this problem.
