For previews, interviews, reviews, and gameplay analysis, browse an editorial library such as GameSpot’s video library. Netflix is not the only place to find game-related video—and it is not the best starting point for this search.
Where to find game trailers and gameplay videos
YouTube Gaming and game pages
YouTube’s Gaming destination brings together trending gaming videos, top live streams, live games, and videos from channels you follow. It is a practical place to browse when you are not looking for one specific game.
For a particular title, look for its YouTube game page. YouTube can automatically create these pages to collect popular videos and livestreams associated with a game, and may link to other games from the same publisher or developer. Not every game has a page; YouTube’s collections depend on its eligibility thresholds and video activity. The results are algorithmically assembled, not an editorial recommendation, so check the channel and uploader if you need to know whether a clip is official.
Official developer, publisher, and platform channels
For a trailer or gameplay shown by the people making or publishing a game, go to the game’s official channel or the publisher’s channel. Platform holders also run showcase channels and event pages where several games may be presented in one broadcast. These are the strongest places to verify that footage or remarks are an official presentation rather than commentary about one.

Event viewing options can vary. For its June 2026 Games Showcase and Gears of War: E-Day Direct, Xbox listed YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, regional Xbox and Bethesda channels, Steam, Bilibili for China, and Amazon Live and Prime Video on Fire TV for viewers in the United States. Those were options for that event, not a standing list for every Xbox broadcast.
Editorial video libraries
GameSpot’s video library mixes official trailers with editorial formats such as previews, interviews, reviews, guides, and gameplay breakdowns. Use these videos for explanation and context, but distinguish an editorial upload from an official trailer or developer presentation before attributing a statement to a game’s creators.

How to watch a developer showcase
A developer showcase can be a better fit than a short trailer when you want extended gameplay or explanations from the team. Xbox described its January 2026 Developer_Direct as featuring gameplay and developer insights presented directly by creators and recorded in their studios.
Before a scheduled show, open its current official event guide and check the details there. Xbox’s January and June 2026 guides listed options across YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, regional channels, and Steam, with Bilibili also listed for the January event. The guides also described captions, regional language feeds, sign-language streams, and audio-described versions, but the specific options differed between events.

- Find the official event guide. Use the organizer’s site or verified channel rather than relying on an old schedule or an unofficial repost.
- Choose a stream available to you. Check whether the listed service and regional channel serve your country; an option listed for one event or region may not apply to another.
- Check access features. Look for the event’s language feeds, captions, sign-language stream, or audio-described version if you need them.
- Confirm replay availability. If you cannot watch live, use the event page to see whether a replay or on-demand video is posted.

Quick checks before you press play
- Source: Is it an official developer, publisher, or platform-holder upload, or editorial or creator coverage?
- Format: Is it a short trailer, extended gameplay, a developer deep dive, an interview, or a live showcase?
- Availability: Is the video live, or is there a posted replay or video-on-demand?
- Access: Is the stream available in your country, and does the event offer the language or accessibility option you need?
These details are event-specific and can change. Check the organizer’s current guide rather than assuming a service, replay, or access feature will carry over from an earlier show.
