Mubadala Investment Company announced Jha’s appointment on January 8, 2014, saying he had been appointed by the GlobalFoundries board to lead the company. Tim Breen is GlobalFoundries’ CEO. His appointment took effect April 28, 2025, when Caulfield became Executive Chairman. The company’s leadership page lists Breen as Chief Executive Officer and Caulfield as Executive Chairman.
