The English/global version of Code Geass: Lost Stories ended service on August 29, 2024, and its shutdown notice said players could no longer log in afterward. That confirms the loss of in-game access, but the available notice does not say whether unused paid currency was refunded or when global player data was deleted.
Can you still log in to the global version?
No. A shutdown announcement attributed to the official CodeGeassglobal profile said service would end at 00:00 PST on August 29, 2024, and that players would not be able to log in after that time. The announcement text is reproduced by Sotwe, a third-party archive, rather than a directly accessible official post. The announced end date has passed.
What happened to purchases and paid currency?
The reproduced notice said new downloads and purchases would stop at 00:00 PST on July 29, 2024. It does not specify what happened to unused paid currency, whether refunds were offered, or how players could request one. The available global information therefore does not establish either that unused currency was refunded or that it was not.
The notice also does not distinguish the fate of paid currency from free currency or purchased in-game items. Because login service ended, players cannot use the game account through the announced service; the notice does not explain whether any particular balance or item was converted, reimbursed, or otherwise handled.

Does the shutdown mean your player data was deleted?
Not necessarily. The stated end of login service establishes that players lost access through the game; it does not establish when the operator erased backend account records, or whether records were retained for any period. The available global notice provides no data-retention or deletion schedule, so a specific deletion date cannot be confirmed.
What if your account was on the Japan service?
The Japan-region support FAQ addresses a different situation: a player choosing to delete an account. In its June 10, 2024 FAQ, the official Lost Stories support site says account deletion removes player data and cannot be reversed; account recovery and refunds for paid Sakura Diamonds are unavailable after deletion. It also distinguishes uninstalling the app from deleting an account.

Those rules concern intentional account deletion on the Japan service. They do not establish what happened to global accounts, unused global currency, or data after the global service shut down.

No recovery product or method is established by the available shutdown information. The official franchise announcement describes Lost Stories as a smartphone and PC game, with the player experiencing the world of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion from a selectable male or female protagonist’s point of view. That describes the game format, not a way to restore accounts, content, or data after service ended.
