The 2025 Vuelta a España ran from 23 August to 14 September and is over. In Spain, viewers could watch coverage free through RTVE’s channels and RTVE Play; HBO Max and Eurosport 1 were also reported as live options. RTVE Play still has stage summaries and highlights, but the available evidence does not confirm that full-stage replays remain accessible.

Where could you watch the 2025 Vuelta a España in Spain?

For the 2025 edition, RTVE announced multichannel live coverage across its channels and platforms. A Spanish viewing guide specified that every stage was available free-to-air through La 1, Teledeporte and RTVE Play. That all-stage detail comes from the guide, while RTVE’s own announcement confirms broader coverage across its services.

  • Free television: La 1 and Teledeporte.
  • Free online stream: RTVE Play.
  • Subscription streaming: HBO Max, which Max España announced would stream each stage live.
  • Subscription television: Eurosport 1, which Max España also listed for live coverage.

These were Spain-specific rights for the 2025 race. They do not establish what is available now or what broadcasters will carry a later edition. RTVE’s 20 August 2025 announcement, Max España’s announcement and the Spanish viewing guide describe the 2025 coverage.

Can you still stream the race or watch replays?

RTVE Play’s Vuelta page has an archive of race content, including stage summaries and highlights. Its Stage 21 summary is dated 14 September 2025. That confirms selected post-race video is available on the page, not that complete live broadcasts or full-stage replays remain available. Check the individual item before relying on it for a full replay.

What if you are outside Spain?

Check the official Vuelta or broadcaster listing for your country. The Spain rights listed above should not be treated as an international broadcaster list: coverage is territorial, and the available information does not establish a complete set of rights holders outside Spain. A service that carried the race in Spain may not carry it where you live.

What was the 2025 race schedule?

The 80th edition was scheduled for 23 August through 14 September 2025, with 21 stages starting in Turin and finishing in Madrid. RTVE reported that 15 of the 21 stages were medium- or high-mountain stages.

Published route-distance figures differ. The official technical regulations give an approximate total of 3,189.0 km, while RTVE’s announcement describes a 3,151-km route. Because the sources do not match, neither figure should be presented without attribution as the definitive distance.
