Wallarm announced on July 31, 2025, that it closed a $55 million Series C led by Toba Capital. The API security company said it will use the funding to scale and continue developing security products, including protection for APIs in the AI era. Wallarm did not disclose a valuation or the round’s full terms in its announcement.
Who invested in Wallarm’s $55 million Series C?
Wallarm named Toba Capital as the lead investor in the round. The company’s current backer list also includes Y Combinator and Partech, but Wallarm’s company page does not establish that either participated in this Series C. Wallarm’s July 31, 2025 announcement is the source for the round details.
Wallarm also reported that it finished 2024 with 134% net revenue retention across enterprise accounts. That is a company-reported metric from the funding announcement; the release does not provide an independent audit or enough detail to recalculate the figure. Wallarm’s announcement
What does Wallarm do?
Wallarm describes its API security software as a way to discover and inventory API endpoints, assess risk, and mitigate attacks inline. API security focuses on protecting the interfaces that let software services and applications exchange data. Discovery and inventory can help security teams identify which endpoints are exposed; risk scoring helps prioritize them; and inline mitigation is intended to block malicious activity as traffic passes through the protection layer.
How is Wallarm positioning its business now?
The 2025 funding announcement framed the investment around scaling API security and addressing threats in the AI era. Wallarm’s later company materials describe it as an AI Control Platform for enterprise AI, APIs, and applications in production. Its newsroom lists the platform’s launch in June 2026, and its company page identifies Austin, Texas, as its headquarters.
