Vultr के Ubuntu server पर OBS से YouTube लाइव चलाने के लिए आपको सिर्फ SSH नहीं, बल्कि graphical desktop और remote desktop access भी चाहिए। Vultr की 1 अप्रैल 2025 को अपडेट की गई guide fresh instance के लिए 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB storage और 3 TB bandwidth बताती है; ये guide की प्रकाशित prerequisites हैं, हर वीडियो और सेटअप के लिए स्वतंत्र रूप से जांचे गए न्यूनतम नहीं। नीचे installation, OBS और YouTube configuration, परीक्षण, निगरानी और सीमाएं दी गई हैं।
पहले जानें कि यह तरीका किन जरूरतों के लिए है
इस मार्ग में Ubuntu server पर desktop environment और OBS चलेंगे। आप अपने कंप्यूटर से VNC Viewer या NoMachine जैसे remote desktop client द्वारा उस desktop तक पहुंचेंगे, फिर OBS में YouTube की stream key डालकर प्रसारण शुरू करेंगे। इसलिए यह headless SSH-only तरीका नहीं है। Vultr की सामान्य Ubuntu guide reboot के बाद OBS के स्वतः शुरू होने, logout पर चलता रहने, या crash के बाद अपने-आप बहाल होने की पुष्टि नहीं करती।
यदि उद्देश्य prerecorded वीडियो को लगातार loop करना है, तो OBS में media source और loop सेटिंग उपयोगी हैं। लाइव कैमरा प्रसारण या किसी दूसरे स्रोत की निरंतर निगरानी के लिए आवश्यकताएं अलग हो सकती हैं।

Ubuntu में पैकेज इंस्टॉल करें
- Vultr पर Ubuntu instance बनाएं और SSH से अपने non-root sudo user के रूप में प्रवेश करें। Vultr guide में दिए resource आंकड़ों को अपनी workload के अनुसार परखें।
- Ubuntu के package index और उपलब्ध packages अपडेट करें।
ffmpegऔरobs-studioइंस्टॉल करें। Vultr guide package manager से इनका installation बताती है; Ubuntu release के अनुसार उपलब्ध package version अलग हो सकता है।- Guide के अनुसार desktop environment सेट करें और VNC Viewer या NoMachine जैसे remote desktop से server के graphical session में प्रवेश करें। OBS को उसी desktop session में खोलें।

YouTube Live और OBS को जोड़ें
- YouTube Studio में Live Control Room खोलें और stream बनाएं या पहले से बनाई stream चुनें। चैनल की live-stream eligibility पहले जांचें। पहली बार live enable करने में 24 घंटे तक लग सकते हैं। YouTube पर लाइव स्ट्रीमिंग शुरू करने के निर्देश देखें।
- Live Control Room से stream URL और stream key लें। OBS में YouTube service configuration खोलकर संबंधित server URL और key डालें। उपलब्ध हो तो RTMPS server/preset चुनें।
- OBS में scene बनाएं और आवश्यक sources जोड़ें। यदि prerecorded file चलानी है, तो Media Source में सही file चुनें और Loop चालू करें। Preview में चित्र और ध्वनि दोनों जांचें। सामान्य Ubuntu desktop में OBS controls उसके version के अनुसार कुछ अलग दिख सकते हैं।
- पहले unlisted या परीक्षण प्रसारण शुरू करें। YouTube Live Control Room में preview, stream health और संदेश देखें; test में वास्तविक stream जैसी audio और movement शामिल करें।
Stream key को सुरक्षित रखें
YouTube stream key को password और address जैसा संवेदनशील मानता है: इससे encoder YouTube को feed भेज सकता है। इसे screenshot, सार्वजनिक tutorial, shell history या साझा config में न दिखाएं। यदि key उजागर हो जाए, तो Live Control Room में उसे reset करें और OBS में नई key डालें। YouTube की stream settings और key संबंधी जानकारी.

Resolution, bitrate और encoder settings चुनें

24/7 चलाने की निगरानी और सीमाएं
CPU, bandwidth और stream health देखें
- Vultr account में instance का CPU usage और bandwidth उपयोग देखते रहें। Vultr guide के अनुसार 2 या अधिक vCPU पर 720p एक सुझाव है; यह universal benchmark नहीं है।
- Vultr की Ubuntu guide चेतावनी देती है कि CPU usage 90% से ऊपर हो तो dropped frames या buffering का जोखिम हो सकता है। इसे workload देखने का vendor operational marker समझें, हर instance के लिए निश्चित सीमा नहीं।
- यदि CPU लगातार ऊंचा हो, तो resolution या frame rate घटाकर परीक्षण करें, अनावश्यक sources/scenes हटाएं, या अधिक सक्षम instance पर विचार करें। YouTube Live Control Room में stream health और encoder संदेश भी देखें।
- Network headroom रखें और वास्तविक stream के समान content के साथ test करें। YouTube आगाह करता है कि connectivity disruption से stream टूट सकती है।
Reboot, logout और crash recovery की अपेक्षा स्पष्ट रखें
सामान्य Ubuntu+OBS guide यह स्थापित नहीं करती कि OBS reboot के बाद स्वतः चालू होगा, remote desktop से logout के बाद जीवित रहेगा, या crash पर फिर से शुरू होगा। इसलिए इसे बिना निगरानी की uptime guarantee न मानें। इन व्यवहारों की जरूरत हो तो अपने चुने Ubuntu release, display server, OBS package और session manager पर deployment-specific परीक्षण करें; बिना सत्यापन के systemd recipe को भरोसेमंद GUI recovery समाधान न समझें।

आम समस्याएं और उनके उपाय
- OBS खुलता नहीं या graphical desktop नहीं दिखता: जांचें कि desktop environment और remote desktop access सही configured हैं और आप सही session में हैं। यह setup केवल SSH command-line पर निर्भर नहीं है।
- YouTube stream शुरू नहीं होती: channel live eligibility और पहली बार live enable होने की स्थिति जांचें; Live Control Room से सही stream URL और key लेकर OBS में दोबारा verify करें। उजागर या पुरानी key को reset करके नई key इस्तेमाल करें।
- Dropped frames या buffering: OBS और YouTube की stream health देखें, CPU load घटाने के लिए resolution/FPS कम करके test करें, और उपलब्ध upload bandwidth में YouTube का सुझाया headroom रखें।
- वीडियो चल रहा है, पर आवाज नहीं: OBS preview और audio meters में source audio जांचें, फिर unlisted test stream पर playback सुनें।
- वीडियो एक बार चलकर रुक जाता है: यदि file loop करनी है, तो Media Source की Loop setting जांचें और preview में file का अंत तथा फिर से शुरू होना सत्यापित करें।
- Reboot या OBS crash के बाद प्रसारण बंद है: सामान्य guide में auto-restart स्थापित नहीं है। Remote desktop से session में जाकर स्थिति जांचें और अपने खास environment में recovery व्यवहार का परीक्षण करें।
Copyright और YouTube channel की जिम्मेदारी
24/7 loop में भी आपके पास वीडियो और संगीत को प्रसारित करने के अधिकार होने चाहिए। YouTube की copyright और monetization नीतियां लागू रहती हैं; केवल OBS या VPS इस्तेमाल करने से किसी सामग्री के अधिकार नहीं मिलते और न ही monetization की गारंटी बनती है। प्रसारण से पहले अधिकार, licenses और YouTube की लागू नीतियां जांचें।
