Vixen 357 is planned to arrive on Steam in 2026, but the store page does not give a specific launch day and still lists the game as not yet available. Is Vixen 357 coming to Steam in 2026?
Yes. As of October 3, 2026, Steam lists a planned 2026 release, but no day or month, and marks the game as not yet available. That is a planned release window, not confirmation that the PC version has launched.

Steam credits Extreme as developer and Ratalaika Games S.L. and Shinyuden as publishers. The listing describes the game as a sci-fi simulation game and gives Windows 10, a 64-bit processor and a 64-bit operating system as minimum requirements. Its language listing includes English, Spanish (Spain) and Japanese for interface and subtitles.
What is Vixen 357?
Vixen 357 is a Japanese tactical strategy RPG originally released for Mega Drive on October 23, 1992. Gematsu credits NSC Corporation as the original developer and Masaya Games as the original publisher; those historical credits are distinct from the team credited for the planned Steam edition. Gematsu’s game listing also identifies Shinyuden with the 2026 re-release.

The game centers on turn-based battles on grid maps. Players direct pilots and VECTOR mechs, moving and attacking to meet each map’s victory condition. Game*Spark reports 16 maps and says pilots can be assigned freely to VECTOR units, with weapons or equipment varying by mech. Game*Spark’s overview describes defeated pilots and machines as permanently lost, making assignments and tactical choices consequential beyond a single battle.
What features are advertised for the Steam version?
The Steam store description advertises convenience and presentation features alongside the original game. These are listed features, not a hands-on assessment of the PC version.

The two editions address different priorities. Steam is the planned PC release, with advertised digital convenience features and listed language support. Shinyuden’s physical edition is an English-language cartridge for compatible Mega Drive/Genesis systems, packaged with collector items.
