The vivo X Fold6 began selling in China on July 1, 2026, and was reported available in Spain from October 1. That makes it a global product rollout—not proof of simultaneous availability in every country. Its folded 6.51-inch cover display has a listed 20.31:9 aspect ratio, retaining the familiar tall outer-screen shape of a book-style foldable; it opens to an 8.02-inch, 4:3.69 display.
What “goes global” means for the X Fold6
vivo announced the X Fold6 in China on June 26, 2026, and said general sales there would start July 1. By October 1, the phone was also reported on sale in Spain. The evidence establishes a rollout beyond China and Spanish availability, but does not identify every country where it can be bought. Check vivo’s local site or an authorized retailer for availability in your country.
The global launch material positions the X Fold6 around its dual-screen foldable format and Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor. Specifications and offers can vary by market, so China’s configuration and pricing should not be assumed to apply elsewhere.
Does it keep the classic tall foldable design?
Yes, if “classic tall” means a book-style foldable with a relatively tall outer screen when closed. vivo’s China specifications list a 6.51-inch cover display at 20.31:9. Open the phone and the inner display measures 8.02 inches, with a 4:3.69 ratio. These dimensions support describing it as a tall-cover foldable; they do not, by themselves, establish that its design is unchanged from a previous generation.

The China specification page gives the folded body as 157.16 mm tall and 74.26 mm wide, with thickness varying from 9.4 to 9.9 mm by color and weight listed as 228 or 235 g. Unfolded width is 145.66 mm. These are China-model measurements, not a guarantee that every regional version has identical dimensions.
Key specifications, with market differences
The China product sheet lists a 12 GB or 16 GB RAM configuration and 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB storage. It specifies AMOLED displays with resolutions of 2528 × 1120 pixels on the cover and 2504 × 2312 pixels inside, with refresh rates up to 120 Hz. Spain’s reported offer is a 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage configuration.

The battery figures are market/source-specific and should not be collapsed into one universal capacity claim. vivo’s China sheet identifies its model as V2545A and lists cellular bands for that model; confirm the regional SKU and supported bands with vivo and your carrier before buying, rather than relying on the China band list to establish compatibility.
Camera system and telephoto accessory
vivo’s China specifications list a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP APO telephoto camera and a 50 MP ultrawide camera. The company also names a vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 with a 200 mm-equivalent focal length. That focal length describes the optional accessory, not the phone’s standard telephoto camera or necessarily every regional bundle. Check whether the extender is sold separately or included with a local photo kit.

For Spain, Cinco Días / Smartlife reported a photo-kit bundle alongside the phone. The report does not establish that this bundle is available in other countries.
Spain prices and buying options
On October 1, 2026, Cinco Días / Smartlife reported a Spanish recommended retail price of €2,199 for the phone and a launch offer of €1,979. Its photo-kit bundle was reported at €2,399 recommended price and €2,159 on offer. These are Spain figures reported on that date; the promotion may change, and neither price should be treated as a global price.

China’s official specification page lists configurations starting at CNY 7,999. Regional configurations and pricing differ, so compare the local model and current offer rather than converting the China entry price into an assumed overseas price.

vivo vice president Huang Tao described the company’s ambition as turning a foldable into an “AI workstation” for complex multitasking. This is vivo’s stated product vision, not independent evidence of productivity performance.
