Why the two matches are comparable—but not predictable
Both deciders pair a team coming from the winners’ match with one that survived an elimination match, and both carry identical advance-or-go-home stakes. That bracket path alone does not establish a form or tactical advantage. The available match information does not establish a head-to-head record, map pool, player-form assessment, or prediction for either series.

Riot describes Champions Shanghai as the event that concludes the 2026 VCT season and determines the VCT World Champion. Teams qualify for Champions through Stage 2 playoff placement and Championship Points accumulated across the season. For these four teams, however, the immediate question is narrower: win the group decider to continue to the playoffs, or lose and be eliminated.
