Urlbox’s published prices are in US dollars, not rupees: self-serve plans start at $19 per month for up to 2,000 renders, while Enterprise starts at $3,000 per month. Those figures are a baseline, not a confirmed India checkout total. Urlbox’s public pricing page does not establish whether an India-based buyer is charged in USD or INR, which local payment methods are accepted, how Indian GST is handled, or what a card issuer may charge for conversion.
Urlbox’s published plans and prices
The following prices are listed on Urlbox’s pricing page, accessed in 2026. They are displayed in dollars. Urlbox also states that prices exclude VAT at the prevailing rate; that statement does not establish the tax treatment for an Indian buyer.
| Plan | Published price | Published render allowance or terms | What distinguishes it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lo-Fi | $19/month | Up to 2,000 renders | For sites you own; screenshots of third-party websites are thumbnails only. |
| Hi-Fi | $49/month | Up to 5,000 renders | Standard support; Urlbox describes it as suitable for most use cases. |
| Ultra | $99/month | Up to 15,000 renders | Priority support and capture for complex rendering scenarios. |
| Business | $498/month | $495 base plus $3 per 1,000 renders; the page lists 1,000+ successful renders included. | Business-oriented limits, SLA and security features; confirm contract and billing details. |
| Enterprise | From $3,000/month | Custom limits and features | Dedicated rendering clusters and bespoke contracts or policies. |
Urlbox’s page offers monthly and annual billing choices and displays an automatic-discount message, but the available price information does not provide a complete annual price table for every plan. Check the selected billing interval and checkout amount before calculating annual spend. Prices and terms can change, so verify the live pricing page before subscribing: Urlbox pricing.
How to estimate the right plan
Do not choose only by the headline price. Match the plan to the type and number of outputs you expect, the sites you need to capture, the rendering complexity, and the support and request limits you need.

#1 Best Overall
- Estimate successful renders. Urlbox says failed requests are not charged as successful renders. Its pricing FAQ also says that successful renders return an image.
- Count output types and advanced options. Urlbox defines a render broadly: screenshots, PDFs, video, or other generated outputs may use render quota. Check the API reference and pricing notes for options that can consume extra renders: Urlbox API documentation.
- Check target-site restrictions. Lo-Fi is limited to thumbnail captures for third-party sites; the pricing comparison describes broader capture tiers above it.
- Compare complexity, concurrency and support. The plan table differentiates request-per-minute limits and support levels, with priority or dedicated support at higher tiers. Ultra is positioned for complex rendering.
- Model usage above quota. Urlbox says it does not cut service off at quota and automatically moves accounts to the next tier with volume pricing. Confirm how that applies to your billing cycle and expected overage before forecasting cost.
Trial, caching and usage billing
Urlbox advertises a seven-day free trial with no credit card required for self-serve plans. Business has a three-month trial on application. Its quickstart directs new users to obtain API keys from the dashboard and also notes the seven-day trial. Confirm current terms when signing up: Urlbox quickstart.
Urlbox says Render Links cache screenshots for 30 days by default, and requests for cached screenshots do not count against the monthly quota. First-time renders and REST API requests do count. The pricing FAQ also says usage emails are sent at 80%, 90% and 100% of quota. These rules can affect how much of an allowance your workflow consumes; check the current plan details for your chosen method of rendering.

What an India-based buyer can and cannot infer
Urlbox says it outsources payment and subscription handling to Stripe and does not store or transmit card details on its own servers. That does not tell you what an Indian customer’s checkout will show or what the final statement will contain.
- Currency: The public pricing page displays USD prices; it does not say whether an India-based checkout charges in USD or INR.
- Payment methods: The public pricing information does not specify which Indian payment methods are accepted.
- Tax: Urlbox’s statement that prices exclude VAT does not answer whether Indian GST or another tax will apply or how it will appear on an invoice.
- Bank or card fees: The public page does not say whether your issuer will add foreign-currency conversion or other transaction fees.
For your actual payable amount, review the currency, taxes and total at checkout, then check the invoice or receipt. If the payment is processed in a foreign currency, confirm any conversion or international transaction fee with your bank or card issuer. Do not treat a conversion of the listed dollar price into rupees as a final quote.

What Urlbox does
Urlbox is a hosted API for rendering web pages or supplied HTML into screenshots and other outputs. Its API reference covers images, PDFs and video, and its product page also describes structured outputs. Urlbox’s product page reports “800M+ screenshots rendered for over 1,700 customers”; it does not state the year for that vendor-published claim, and it is not an independent measurement.
Or skip the browser setup
If you are comparing screenshot APIs, try ScreenshotNeo first: it removes consent banners, newsletter popups and chat widgets before capture, and only clean shots are billed.
One GET request can return an image or PDF. For example, using cURL:

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options. Bot checks, blank pages and failed loads are never billed; an MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots; and 1,000 screenshots a month are free with no card, with paid plans starting at $5 for 3,000.
