To upgrade Hostinger Reach, sign in to Hostinger, open the Reach dashboard, select your profile name in the top-right corner, open the paid-plans option, choose the monthly unique-subscriber volume you need, and finish checkout. After payment, open Plan & limits under the profile icon to confirm that the new allowance is active.
The free plan is limited to 100 unique subscribers and 200 emails per month. Upgrading is also the route to higher AI allowances and paid features such as automations, collaborator access, Smart Sending and removal of the “Powered by Hostinger Reach” signature.
What “upgrading Reach” changes
Hostinger Reach measures its main audience limit as unique subscribers per month. That is different from the number of email deliveries: one subscriber may receive several emails during the same month, so you must check both limits before choosing a tier.

The free plan’s allowance is called Reach 100 because its monthly unique-subscriber ceiling is 100.

Reach 100 and Reach 500 compared

All Reach limits are monthly and reset automatically on the first day of each month. The reset does not turn the free plan into a paid plan; it only restores that plan’s next monthly allowance.
Why the two limits matter
- Unique subscribers: the number of different subscribers you can reach in the monthly period.
- Emails: the total monthly email allowance. Repeated messages to the same person still consume email sends.
- AI credits: the recurring monthly AI allowance shown for a paid tier. The free plan has zero monthly AI credits even though Hostinger lists 20 welcome AI messages for new users.
If your audience is larger than 100 different people, Reach 100 cannot meet that requirement. If your audience is below 100 but you send frequent campaigns, compare the 200-email allowance with the number of planned sends as well.
How to upgrade an active Reach plan
- Sign in to Hostinger. Use the Hostinger account that owns the Reach site or subscription you want to change.
- Open the Reach dashboard. This is the workspace where your email-marketing plan and usage are managed.
- Open the account menu. Click your profile name in the top-right corner.
- Choose the paid-plans or upgrade option. Hostinger’s label can change as the billing interface is updated, so select the menu item that opens Reach plan choices rather than general account settings.
- Select the monthly unique-subscriber volume. Choose the tier that covers the number of different subscribers you expect to reach in a month. Do not choose solely from the email-send figure; both allowances apply.
- Review the plan and complete checkout. Check the displayed limits, included features and billing details before confirming payment. Prices and discounts are shown in the checkout flow and are not universal figures in Hostinger’s general help information.
- Confirm the result. Return to the profile icon and open Plan & limits. The dashboard should show the selected tier and its active monthly allowances.
Choosing the right Reach tier
Choose Reach 500 for a larger monthly audience
Reach 500 raises the unique-subscriber ceiling from 100 to 500 and raises the email allowance from 200 to 3,500 per month. It also lists 10 monthly AI credits. This is the directly documented choice when your mailing list or planned audience exceeds Reach 100.

Check email volume separately
A campaign plan can fit under the subscriber ceiling and still exceed the email allowance. For example, sending several messages to a smaller list consumes multiple email sends while the number of unique people remains unchanged. Estimate the total deliveries for the month, not just the list size, before checkout.
Upgrade for AI use
The free plan shows zero monthly AI credits, while Hostinger lists 20 welcome AI messages for the free experience. If you need an ongoing monthly AI allowance rather than the welcome allocation, a paid tier is required; Reach 500 is documented with 10 monthly AI credits.
Allow for month boundaries
Reach allowances reset on the first day of each month. A limit reached near month-end will not permanently block the account, but it also does not increase the current plan’s ceiling before the reset. Upgrade when the higher allowance is needed for the current billing period rather than assuming the reset changes your tier.

Paid features included beyond the free allowance
Hostinger’s 2026 plan information says paid plans add capabilities that are not part of the basic free allowance. Exact availability depends on the selected tier, so treat the following as a feature set to verify on the plan-selection screen rather than as a promise that every paid tier includes every item.
- Higher limits: larger monthly unique-subscriber and email allowances.
- Tiered AI credits: recurring monthly credits that vary by plan.
- No “Powered by Hostinger Reach” signature: paid plans remove this branding from supported emails.
- Unlimited AI-powered audience segments: create audience segments with Reach’s AI tools without the free-plan restriction.
- Unlimited AI subject lines: use the AI subject-line feature without a stated monthly cap on paid plans.
- Limited spam checking and AI fixes: paid functionality for checking messages and applying AI-assisted fixes, subject to the plan’s limits.
- Smart Sending: an automated sending feature available on paid plans where the selected tier includes it.
- Collaborator access: allow other users to work with the Reach account when supported by the tier.
- Welcome automations: automate welcome communications on plans that include the feature.
- Automated email sequences: build sequences rather than sending every message manually, with availability determined by tier.
Because Hostinger describes these capabilities as tier-dependent, open the individual plan details during checkout and verify the exact feature list before paying.
Upgrading when Reach 100 is expiring or has expired
Upgrading an active plan and dealing with an expiring plan are presented differently in Hostinger’s current billing flow. A Hostinger changelog entry dated October 1, 2026 describes a new Renew versus Upgrade page that compares Renew Starter (Reach 100) with Upgrade to Grow (Reach 500).

That comparison includes the plans’ limits, features, pricing and available discounts. Hostinger says the page can be opened from any of these locations:
- the Email Marketing plans table;
- Billing subscription details;
- prompts displayed when a Reach 100 plan is expiring or has expired.
Renew versus upgrade

If the account shows an expiry prompt, use that comparison rather than assuming the ordinary active-plan menu is the only route. Read the displayed renewal or upgrade details, select the intended option, and then verify the resulting tier in Plan & limits.

- Open the Reach dashboard after checkout or renewal.
- Click the profile icon or profile name in the top-right corner.
- Select Plan & limits.
- Check the plan name, unique-subscriber allowance, email allowance and monthly AI credits.
- Confirm that any expected paid features appear in the account’s available tools.
The plan-and-limits screen is the authoritative place to check the active allowance in the account. A payment confirmation alone does not tell you whether you selected the intended subscriber tier.

Troubleshooting an upgrade
The upgrade option is missing
Make sure you are in the Reach dashboard, not a different Hostinger product area, and open the profile name in the top-right corner. If the account is showing an expiry or expired-plan prompt, use the Renew-versus-Upgrade comparison linked from the Email Marketing plans table, Billing subscription details or that prompt.
The limits still show Reach 100
Return to Plan & limits under the profile icon and check the selected plan name. If checkout was completed but the old limits remain, review the billing subscription details and the confirmation shown by Hostinger before attempting another purchase.
You expected more AI messages
Distinguish the free plan’s 20 welcome AI messages from monthly AI credits. The free comparison lists zero monthly AI credits; Reach 500 lists 10 monthly AI credits. A paid plan’s exact AI allowance is tier-specific and should be checked on its plan details.

Do not use the subscriber number as a substitute for the email allowance. Compare your planned monthly deliveries with the email limit shown for the tier. Reach 500 is documented with 3,500 emails per month, compared with 200 on Reach 100.
You are unsure whether a feature is included
Paid functionality is tier-dependent. Check the feature list on the plan-selection or Renew-versus-Upgrade page for the exact tier, especially for Smart Sending, collaborator access, welcome automations, automated sequences, spam checking and AI fixes.
Important billing and availability qualifications
- Hostinger’s interface labels and plan presentation can change; follow the current labels shown in your account.
- The documented limits are monthly and reset on the first day of each month.
- The figures in the comparison above are Hostinger’s 2026 plan-and-limits values, not a universal promise that future tiers will use the same numbers.
- Hostinger’s cited help and plan information does not provide a universal Reach pricing table. Use the checkout or Renew-versus-Upgrade page for the price and any discount displayed for your account.
- No general affiliate, commission, cookie or geographic terms are established by the plan information, so those should not be inferred from the upgrade flow.
Bottom line
Use the Reach dashboard’s profile menu to open paid plans, select the monthly unique-subscriber tier you need, pay, and verify the result under Plan & limits. Stay on Reach 100 only when 100 unique subscribers and 200 monthly emails are sufficient. Choose Reach 500 when you need up to 500 unique subscribers, 3,500 monthly emails, 10 monthly AI credits or the paid features offered with that tier. If Reach 100 is expiring, use Hostinger’s Renew-versus-Upgrade page to decide between renewing Starter and upgrading to Grow.
