Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson had a procedure to fix his finger and is ruled out for the Week 4 game against the Tennessee Titans. Head coach Jesse Minter said the team expects his absence to be “very, very short term,” but Baltimore has not announced a return date.
What happened to Trey Hendrickson?
The Ravens said Hendrickson underwent a procedure to fix his finger on October 2, 2026. The team had reported that he played the previous two games with a broken finger, but it has not provided further medical details about the procedure.
Hendrickson was listed with a finger injury and did not participate in practice Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Baltimore’s final injury report designated him OUT for Sunday’s Week 4 matchup with Tennessee. The Ravens’ team update and official injury report document the procedure and status.
When could he return?
Minter described the team’s expectation this way: “We think [his absence will] be very, very short term.” That is the coach’s estimate, not a confirmed timetable; the Ravens have not specified which game Hendrickson might return for.

Who could take on more work?
Baltimore identified second-year outside linebacker Mike Green and undrafted rookie Ethan Burke as players who could see more responsibility while Hendrickson is out. The team’s October 2 update reported Green had five tackles and one sack through the first three weeks. It did not provide a projected snap count for either player or establish how much they would play against Tennessee.
Hendrickson’s season numbers
UPI reported on October 2, 2026, that Hendrickson had one sack and three quarterback hits in three games. Those figures are a snapshot of his season through the report date. UPI’s report provides that statistical context.
