CD PROJEKT RED says some online rewards, including Twitch Drops and Bilibili Drops, may not appear in The Witcher 3 in certain scenarios. The publisher says to check the game’s main-menu CD PROJEKT RED Account section: if the items are listed there, they were granted and should become collectible after a patch addresses the issue. The support notice gives no release date for that patch.
What is happening with Witcher 3 rewards?
CD PROJEKT RED has confirmed a problem in which some online rewards do not appear in-game in certain scenarios. Its support notice specifically names Twitch Drops and Bilibili Drops. This does not mean every giveaway failed or that every player who claimed a reward is affected.
The notice describes rewards failing to appear; it does not say they were revoked or lost. It also does not identify the affected platforms, explain a specific sequence that triggers the issue, or provide a separate account-linking procedure for these Drops.
How to check whether your reward was granted
- Open The Witcher 3 and go to the main menu.
- Open CD PROJEKT RED Account.
- Check whether the reward items are listed there.
According to CD PROJEKT RED, items visible in that section were correctly granted. They should become collectible after a patch addresses the issue, even if they are not currently appearing as available in-game.

When will the fix arrive?
The support notice says a patch will address the issue, but it does not provide a patch date or identify a particular game version. Check CD PROJEKT RED’s support notice or official update channels for a timing announcement; do not assume a specific platform or release schedule from reports about unrelated remaster bugs.
Does buying the remaster solve missing Drops?
No buying recommendation follows from the support notice: it does not identify purchasing another copy as a remedy for missing Drops. The remastered release became available on September 29, 2026. CD PROJEKT RED says it is a free upgrade for existing owners on GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and for Nintendo Switch 2 players who own the original Switch version. It is also available to purchase on Battle.net and the Microsoft Store.

On supported platforms, the remastered release includes Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine; owners of only the base game receive those expansions in the upgrade, according to the announcement. These upgrade and expansion details are separate from the Drops issue and do not establish that changing editions will make a missing reward appear.

No. CD PROJEKT RED’s My Rewards page covers in-game items and downloadable extras such as art books, comics, soundtracks, wallpapers, and concept art. The publisher separately identifies Twitch and Bilibili Drops in its support notice, so the two reward categories should not be treated as interchangeable.

Claiming items through My Rewards requires a CD PROJEKT RED account, and registering for My Rewards requires internet access. The page says rewards already claimed remain yours offline. Those statements concern My Rewards and do not specify an account-linking workflow for Twitch or Bilibili Drops.
