What can be missed in Tenebris Somnia?

Complete the two counted interactions first
- Iván’s door: At the opening, knock on Iván’s closed door 10 times before using the keys. GG Guides marks this interaction as missable.
- Iván’s picture: On the first visit to the Floor 2 apartment, examine Iván’s picture five times. Do not assume a single examination records the flag; complete all five interactions during this visit.
Collect the apartment items in a room-by-room sweep

Prima Games’ chronological map places the Old Book inside the apartment, the Empty Glass in the bedroom, the Photo Developing Chemicals in the kitchen refrigerator and the Wrench in the bathtub. Follow that order if you want a simple sweep that minimizes backtracking. The guide’s instruction to combine the wrench and prepared glass should be followed when the game makes the preparation step available; do not discard either component while progressing.
Film canisters for “Devora”
Track all three film canisters during the apartment and opening chapters. GG Guides associates the set with the “Devora” objective. Because the supplied route does not establish a room-by-room position for each canister, use the game’s highlighted-object cues and do a complete room sweep rather than relying on a guessed location.

Chapter-transition sweep procedure
Use this procedure whenever the game is about to move you into a new chapter, especially at the apartment-to-hospital transition.
- Walk through every accessible room, including rooms that no longer appear necessary for story progress.
- Interact with every highlighted object, picture and readable item.
- Confirm that the Old Book has been collected and that you have read each page available so far.
- Verify the 10 knocks, five picture examinations and all three film canisters from the opening checklist.
- Check your achievement or collectible tracker if the platform exposes one, then create a manual save in a new slot.
- Only after the sweep is complete, trigger the chapter exit.
If you discover a missing item after a transition, first test whether an earlier save still opens the previous chapter. If no earlier save exists and the area is inaccessible, the practical remedy is a replay from the last available chapter or a new run; the fan checklist does not establish a universal recovery method.

Silver-bottle achievement
Remove three save points to fill the silver bottle for “Have You Chosen… Wisely?” This is an achievement condition, not a general instruction to delete every save. Keep a separate manual save before attempting the third removal if your platform allows multiple save slots; that preserves a fallback without changing the required count in the active run.

For “One More For The Road,” drink Lavendoleum while at full health. Check your health state immediately before drinking it; using the item while damaged can fail the condition. The available data does not establish whether health can be restored after the drink, so treat the full-health requirement as the critical timing check.
Route-exclusive audio and cinematic flags
The fan-made route reports branch-specific audio or cinematic collectibles in the hospital and mid-game. These are optional flags rather than universally documented progression items. If you are pursuing the secret ending, follow one consistent route, record every branch choice in your notes and avoid loading a save from a different branch unless you are deliberately testing an alternate outcome.

Search the third sewer junction for the Sewer Password Note. The community guide places it behind a breakable wall. If the note is absent, check that you are at the third junction rather than an earlier intersection and that every breakable surface has been tested.

Pick up the Cult Insignia during the boss-arena window if you are following the cult route. The opportunity is described as time- or sequence-sensitive by the community checklist, so search the arena before committing to the next encounter phase.
Hospital Map Fragment
At the sewer exit, inspect the puddle for the Hospital Map Fragment if you are collecting cosmetic FMV flags. This fragment is not established as a core progression item, but it can contribute to optional cinematic variation.

If one is missing, do not proceed on the assumption that the ending will still trigger. Return to the latest manual save that precedes the relevant transition, if one exists.

The ending sequence is the last reliable point for a full audit. Read every remaining Old Book page, confirm the three Chapter 4 items and review any branch-specific notes you kept for the audio or cinematic route. The community checklist does not establish a universal in-game counter for secret-ending flags, so inventory and save management are your practical verification tools.
Final pre-dialogue checklist

- Dream Compass in inventory.
- Mirror Shard in inventory.

I used the keys before knocking 10 times
The opening interaction is explicitly marked missable. Reload an earlier save if available; otherwise plan to repeat the opening on a new run.
I examined Iván’s picture fewer than five times
The required count applies to the first Floor 2 apartment visit. If that visit has ended, use a pre-visit save or replay the chapter.
The secret ending did not trigger
Because the prerequisites are community-reported, first verify the six listed items and the chapter-transition saves. Then check branch-specific audio or cinematic flags and confirm that your platform build matches the route’s assumptions. No guaranteed recovery sequence is established without an earlier save.
I cannot find a sewer item
Recheck the third sewer junction, test the breakable wall and inspect the exit puddle separately. The Sewer Password Note, Cult Insignia and Hospital Map Fragment are in different search contexts; finding one does not confirm the others.
One-run planning order
- Complete the 10 knocks and five picture examinations.
- Sweep the apartment for the Old Book, Empty Glass, Photo Developing Chemicals and Wrench; follow the wrench-and-prepared-glass combination when available.
- Collect all three film canisters and read every Old Book page that is available.
- Make a chapter-transition save after sweeping every room.
