Syslogic announced its u-blox ZED-X20 All-Band GNSS Board on 20 January 2026 for its industrial embedded computers. The board is offered in single- and dual-receiver configurations, supports RTK, PPP-RTK and PPP positioning, and lists headline accuracy from 1.2 m CEP standalone to 1 cm + 1 ppm CEP with RTK. Its fit depends on the correction service, host computer and receiver configuration your deployment needs.

What is the Syslogic GNSS expansion board?

It is a GNSS receiver board designed to integrate with Syslogic industrial embedded computers, including NVIDIA Jetson-based and x86-based hosts. Syslogic positions it for autonomous machines and vehicles, with named applications including agricultural machinery, remote construction equipment, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), surveying and industrial automation. The launch announcement is dated 20 January 2026 and was authored by John E. Caruso. Syslogic’s announcement describes it as an all-band expansion board for industrial computers.

Which receiver configuration should you choose?

Article number Receiver configuration Published distinction
IPC/GNSSX20-103E Single u-blox ZED-X20P Single-receiver configuration
IPC/GNSSX20-104E Dual u-blox ZED-X20 Two receivers
IPC/GNSSX20-105E Single u-blox ZED-X20D Single receiver with heading

Syslogic lists the model names and article numbers on its product page. The published configuration details do not specify the performance trade-offs between the single- and dual-receiver options, or how each configuration affects a particular installation. Confirm those details with Syslogic when selecting a part for a system design.

How accurate is the ZED-X20 board?

Syslogic’s current product specification gives different figures by positioning method. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not results from an independent test.

Positioning mode Syslogic-published performance
Standalone 1.2 m CEP
RTK 1 cm + 1 ppm CEP
PPP-RTK 3–6 cm
PPP update rate Up to 25 Hz

CEP means circular error probable, a statistical way of describing horizontal position error; it is not a guarantee that every fix will fall within the stated distance. The product page does not give test conditions alongside these figures, so treat them as published specifications rather than an assured result in every environment. For a real deployment, performance also depends on the selected correction method and the conditions under which the receiver operates.

What correction services and signals does it support?

The board supports RTK, PPP-RTK and PPP. Syslogic says it is optimized for u-blox PointPerfect Global, which uses PPP-AR corrections delivered over the internet or by L-band satellite transmission. In its launch article, Syslogic reports convergence in less than two minutes and accuracy within ten centimeters for PointPerfect Global. Those are claims about that service, not the standalone accuracy specification for the board.

Syslogic describes HAS as globally available and free. Syslogic’s launch article attributes the service and correction details; check current service coverage and operational requirements for your intended location.

Can correction data work without cellular coverage?

Potentially. Syslogic identifies L-band satellite delivery as an option for PointPerfect Global PPP-AR corrections, alongside internet delivery. That means the correction path need not rely on a cellular connection, although the installation still needs the required satellite reception and service availability. For deployments that instead use internet-delivered corrections, connectivity remains necessary. The available product information does not state PointPerfect subscription pricing, regional commercial terms or an enrollment link.

Will it fit your host and operating environment?

Syslogic names its NVIDIA Jetson-based and x86-based embedded computers as host families for the board. Its product page specifies a −40°C to +85°C extended operating-temperature range and a PPS output to the host system through GPIO. Check compatibility with the exact computer model, system design and integration requirements with Syslogic; the published material does not establish compatibility with arbitrary third-party computers.
