StreamYard’s pricing page displayed Core at $44.99/month with monthly billing or $35.99/month with annual billing, and Advanced at $88.99/month monthly or $68.99/month annually when checked on October 3, 2026. StreamYard says paid plans have no streaming-duration limit on its side, but that does not establish an unattended, continuous loop of prerecorded video. Its plan page lists only 2 hours of prerecorded streams on Core and 4 hours on Advanced. For an always-on prerecorded YouTube channel, treat those as separate questions: what StreamYard costs, whether it supports the unattended workflow you need, and what YouTube will archive.
StreamYard plan prices and features
The figures below are the prices displayed on StreamYard’s pricing page when checked on October 3, 2026. StreamYard says prices can vary with promotions, seasonal deals, renewal terms, and custom offers, so confirm the billing period and final amount at checkout. These are page-displayed dollar amounts, not a guaranteed quote for every region or account.

The annual-billing figures are monthly equivalents; compare the full billing commitment shown at checkout, not just the monthly equivalent. StreamYard’s listed feature set also distinguishes the hours allocated to prerecorded streams from its broader wording about unlimited streaming.
Does “unlimited streaming” mean a prerecorded 24/7 loop?
Not necessarily. StreamYard’s help material says there are no streaming limits on paid plans, and its YouTube guidance says there is no duration limit imposed by StreamYard for a YouTube stream. Those statements address how long a broadcast can run from StreamYard’s side. They do not, by themselves, confirm a built-in unattended workflow that continuously loops prerecorded videos.

The plan page’s finite prerecorded-stream allowances are a separate feature: 2 hours on Core and 4 hours on Advanced. Do not treat a paid plan’s no-duration-limit statement as proof that a 24/7 prerecorded playlist is included. If that exact workflow is essential, confirm it with StreamYard before subscribing.
Recording limits are different from broadcast duration
StreamYard’s help material says Free recordings are unavailable; Core, Advanced, and Teams recording sessions are capped at 10 hours; and Business sessions at 24 hours. Storage availability also affects recording. Its YouTube guidance says only the last 12 hours of a YouTube stream will be recorded. A broadcast continuing to transmit is not the same as a complete recording being saved.

YouTube’s 12-hour archive and DVR caveat
YouTube warns that a live stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. DVR rewind may also be limited or unavailable for streams longer than 12 hours. Therefore, do not rely on a single continuous 24/7 broadcast to create a complete YouTube replay. If keeping an archive matters, arrange a local recording or a workflow that divides programming into shorter sessions, and check that the local recording is actually growing while you stream.
Eligibility and operating checks before going live
YouTube’s stated requirements include a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, and YouTube says streamers must be at least 16. Confirm current eligibility in YouTube Studio before planning a launch.

YouTube’s mobile-app subscriber requirement does not apply when streaming through StreamYard, according to StreamYard’s connection guidance.
- Connect the channel and select the destination. Follow StreamYard’s current channel-connection flow and verify the selected YouTube channel before scheduling or starting a broadcast.
- Use YouTube’s encoder details when the workflow calls for them. YouTube’s encoder workflow uses a live server URL and stream key. Treat the stream key as a credential: enter it only into the intended streaming service and reset it in YouTube if it is exposed.
- Monitor the actual output. Check audio and video quality after starting, and verify that any local archive is being written. Neither the available StreamYard nor YouTube information guarantees fault-free round-the-clock operation across the service, connection, and channel.
Rights, interruptions, and monetization
YouTube scans live broadcasts for third-party content. If detected material remains after a warning, YouTube may replace the live image, interrupt the stream, or terminate it. Even a license may not prevent an interruption if a rights holder needs to allowlist the channel through Content ID. YouTube’s live-stream terms make the content provider responsible for the necessary worldwide rights, including music rights; clear music, footage, and other material before putting it into a continuous stream.
Monetization depends on channel eligibility and applicable feature rules. Eligible channels may enable ads, Super Chat, Super Stickers, or memberships, but ad slots are not guaranteed to serve. YouTube’s monetization policies also apply to live streams and exclude repetitive or mass-produced “inauthentic” material from eligibility. Running content around the clock does not guarantee monetization or a particular revenue level.

Plan use and choosing what to pay for
StreamYard’s usage policy describes Free, Core, and Advanced as plans for individual use, including individuals using the service for their work. Business and Enterprise are its business tiers. A commercial organization should check the plan terms rather than assume an individual subscription is suitable.
- Choose based on production needs if you want a browser-based studio, multistream destinations, and the listed plan features. Core and Advanced differ in price and capabilities; the plan page lists Advanced’s higher prerecorded-stream allowance as 4 hours, not continuous unattended playout.
- Verify the unattended workflow if your goal is to loop prerecorded videos continuously without an operator. The available StreamYard plan and help information does not clearly establish that capability.
- Separate transmission from archive needs. Consider YouTube’s 12-hour archive caveat and StreamYard’s session/storage recording limits when choosing a workflow.
