Star Wars: Galactic Racer ist zum Stand vom 3. Oktober 2026 noch nicht erschienen. Der weltweite Start ist für den 6. Oktober auf PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S und PC angekündigt. Deshalb gibt es hier keine Wertung und keinen Test der fertigen Fassung, sondern einen Überblick über das bestätigte Spiel, die Editionen und die bisherige Vorab-Spielzeit.
Was ist Star Wars: Galactic Racer?
Galactic Racer ist ein Rennspiel im gesetzlosen Outer Rim. In der runs-basierten Neuinterpretation tritt Shade in der illegalen Galactic League gegen Rivalen und die Familie Bool an. Statt nur auf Podracer setzt das Spiel auf mehrere Fahrzeugklassen: Landspeeder, Speederbikes, Skim-Speeder und Podracer.

Ein Test der veröffentlichten Version liegt zum 3. Oktober 2026 nicht vor, weil das Spiel erst am 6. Oktober starten soll. Xbox Wire veröffentlichte 2026 einen begrenzten Hands-on-Bericht nach etwa einer Stunde Spielzeit in Kampagne und Arcade-Modus. Der Autor beschrieb die Rennen als herausfordernd und unterhaltsam und sah Tiefe sowie Wiederspielwert. Das ist eine persönliche Einschätzung eines Vorab-Builds, kein Urteil über die finale Fassung. Damit bleiben zentrale Testfragen offen: Wie unterscheiden sich die vier Fahrzeugklassen beim Fahren? Wie fair sind Kollisionen und Überholmanöver? Und wie stabil laufen Bildrate, Ladezeiten und plattformübergreifende Online-Rennen? Ohne Prüfung der veröffentlichten Version wäre eine Wertung oder technische Empfehlung verfrüht.
